"Are you ready to go,Lexi? We're going to be late!" Justice said.
Today is the last day before winter break, and Justice is over excited. We are ready to run out to the car like we did every day this week. I got my shoes on, and went outside.
"Hurry up Justice!" I said. He started running, slipped on some ice and hit his head. I sprang up to him, checked his head, and called for Mom.
"Hurry, get over here! He's hurt!" Mom came out, put him in the car, and got him in the hospital.
The doctor had to check what was wrong.Mom and I had to sit in the waiting room. After three hours, the doctor finally came out.
"There's some bad news. Your son has brain cancer, and the tumor has caused him to go into a coma."
