She looked up at me and smiled, "I don't ever want to leave." She whispered dozing off. I smiled uneasily, the sounds of the crashing waves outside getting louder and louder. "Don't worry, we won't leave." I said. I mean how could we? The place was floating in the water....how could we leave? Could I have told her that we were stranded and gloating away? Yes. Do I want to get my ass beat for not telling her sooner? No.
