Chapter 9

***Rockys POV***

Right after Rashad told me that the girl he liked was my friend Alex, tears rolled down my face and Rashad looked at me confused. I opened the truck door and ran to my car and sped off.

Rashad kept calling and texting but ignored them my heart was broken once again. I immediately called Nicki to tell her what happened. At first she sound kind of happy then her mood changed to sad which was odd but i didnt say anything. She said to come over and i immediately did. As soon as i sat down on her couch the tears just wouldnt stop falling.

***Nicki POV***

"Damn babe im sorry about you and Rashad" i said happily while Raquels head was on my shoulder. It'll be ok he wasnt meant for you no way just move on and find someone else to be with" i said.

"But i like him i thought we really had something and I was positive he was talking about me when he said i was the girl he liked!"Raquel cries.

"Its ok sis look ima go to the store and get junk food for us DO NOT TALK TO RASHAD IGNORE HIS CALLS AND TEXTS ALRIGHT? i told Rocky Specifically.

"Ok" Rocky says while wiping her tears.

I left Rocky dumb ass in my room crying on the sofa. Im glad that my plan worked to break up Tiara and Rashad but honestly i thought Rashad was gone ask Raquel to be his girl. Well i was wrong! Now that Rashad is single i just have to get him alone and make him mine forever and i know exactly what to do.

***Rashad POV***

After the joke I played with Rocky I didn't expect her to take it the way she did. Once I saw the tears roll down her face i immediately felt like sh.t.

I called her 16 times before I finally got an answer.

Rocky: hello

Rashad: babe?

Rocky: that's not my name

Rashad: Rocky... You know I was only joking right? For weeks me and you became great friends we were able to joke around and crack jokes on eachother...so why today when I said I was feeling Alex you started crying boo?

Rocky:.......... Rashad? I'm not playing anymore..for along time since 9 th grade I had a huge crush on you i dont know what it is about you but you do something to me... When you told me that you liked Alex my heart was broken what do you expect me to do?

Rashad: Rocky I been feeling some way about you as well....I like you a lot and I love the friendship we have.....I want you to be my girl I'm feeling you a lot your smile your a sweet girl you carry yourself like a lady and you're very different then a lot of girls..

Rocky: Rashad stop playing with my emotions just what exactly are you trying to say?

Rashad: ...........

Rocky: Rashad??

Rashad.......Will you be my girlfriend?
