"BUBBA." Richard called. "I CAN'T FIND MY SPEECH."

"You put it in your suit jacket." I said walking out into the living room.

Richard had been chosen as valedictorian so he had to give a speech.

He said I was really gonna love it so i'm nervous for what he put in there. We sped off to the Dover symphony Hall. It's where the graduation would be.

When we got there we were immediately separated. Richard went up to the B section and I went over to the P section. Kaths last name was Ortega so we were next to each other.

We spent the whole first half of the ceremony talking through the speeches until we heard pomp of circumstance start.

The names passed quickly, surprisingly. Soon I heard Amanda Piper being called. I turned and smiled because I knew that Shawn was recording this for my channel. 

Then I sat back down. After the names it was time for Richards speech. When he got up there he looked nervous so I smiled and blew him a kiss.

"Hi, uh is this thing on?" He said, tapping the microphone making us laugh.

"I guess so, i'm um Richard Brown. I transferred to Dover from another school after leaving for special schooling. One night I woke up after having a dream. The dream told me to transfer to Dover. So I did, as quickly as possible. That decision was the best I ever made.

Moving to Dover changed my life forever. It made me a better person in so many ways.

I met new people. I learned how to understand different worlds. I gained so much more than a degree, I gained the love of my life.

If I had never moved to Dover I never would have met the girl who has uplifted me in so many ways. She's my best friend, she's the only girl I love as much as my mama and she's sitting in the audience today. The people I met at Dover are some of the strongest, most loving, caring and smartest people I have ever met.

This is after studying in London, Paris,New York,China,and Kenya. I found my home here. Dover is more than just a school to me. It's my home. We are not just the Dover wolves. We are the Dover pack.

We are the Dover family. I just want to thank my beautiful girlfriend for helping me realize this. This was all for you bubba." He said before walking off the stage.

The hall erupted in cheers and screams of happiness. People stood, people cried, even the principal was at a loss for words.

Richard gave a beautiful speech and i'm so happy for him. I caught his eye and gave him a thumbs up to smile. 

My parents aren't here to see this day but if they were. I know they would love Richard. My parents died in a house fire when I was young so I have no blood family. I was adopted by my aunt and her husband at the age 3, so I don't even remember them, but I realize now I don't need them.

I have my pack. I have my friends. I have Richard. That's truly all I need. The principal told us to toss our hats into the sky and I watched as they flew into the sun. It was almost serene watching them fly like that. Of course that was broken as I was dogpiled by Kath, Shawn and Montgomery. These were the first people I ever met in highschool and now we finally have degrees.

"Smile!" Shawn said as we pointed his phone at us. We took a group selfie and he posted it to his Instagram with the caption "4L 🐺".

Suddenly I was lifted into the air as Richard spun me around. "Bubba we did it!" He cheered.

Then he grabbed my face and kissed me deeply.

"I have another surprise for later. We're going out."
