There was this party and all their friends were there. The boys all knew that Luke was in love with his best friend, Sophia, but she was clueless. And she had a crush on him too but nobody knew that.
"Let's play truth or dare!" Calum suggested. He was a little drunken but he still wanted to help Luke to get his girl. After a few rounds the bottle was on Luke and he took truth. "Are you in love with someone?" Michael asked with a smirk. He knew the answer but he wanted Luke to say it.
Now all eyes were on the blond boy. "Yes" he answered calmly without looking anyone in the eyes. Sophia was disappointed, why didn't he tell her? They were best friends after all. Even if it had broken her heart, he should have told her. Sophia didn't doubt that he was in love with someone else, although he wasn't.
Then Sophia stood up wordlessly and left the room. She just wanted to think about the situation. Luke went after her. "What's wrong?" He asked her sincerely. "Nothing." She answered him without any emotion at all. "Why didn't you tell me that you are in love with someone?" She asked him angrily. "I'm your bestfriend. Bestfriends tell such things to each other." Her voice got louder with every word. She crossed her arms and waited for an answer. "Because I am in love with you!" Luke whispered but he was sure she understood him. She looked at him, shocked, she would have never expected him to be in love with her. But she was happy. "I love you too" she whispered back with a huge smile on her face. Luke put his hands on her waist and pulled her nearer to him. Sophia's hands found their way to his neck and they leaned in for a kiss. Their lips touched and they both felt this little firework between them. In that moment everything was alright.
