a slight blush crawls up Castiel's neck and floods his cheeks as Dean's hand wraps protectively under his arm and his body presses flush against his back. The warmth imitating for Deans front spreads onto Cas's back and he finds himself leaning towards the comforting and familiar heat.
"Keep you back straight, elbows relaxed and eyes on the target. Just like that." Dean whispers into his ear, his lips ghosting over the sensitive skin of Castiel's ear, breath tickling, it creates a slight damp patch onto his pale skin. He pulls the trigger with a little more certainty, tapping into Dean's radiating confidence and with a loud, rippling sound that slices through the air, the bullet shoots out as the gun is propelled backwards. The silver bullet hits home into the target, lodging itself in the white circle surrounding the red. Before he gets a chance to notice, the warm and protective body had disappeared leaving Castiel with a tingling sensation and and a cool breeze warming the previously heated skin. One of the many down falls of being human, were the crushing, overcoming feelings that seem to crash through him every minute of every day. He didn't have to worry about sentiment when he was an angel and his grace blurred his human senses, but now, things were different. Cas' eyes were downcast as he turned around, gun still in hand pointed downwards and his fingers were far gone from the trigger, choosing to rest on the Black metal barrel of the gun instead.
"Not bad. Pretty soon you won't be needing me." Dean muttered to Castiel, a friendly smirk gracing his features and a spark of amusement glistening in his green eyes. Castiel looked up almost shyly, hope lining his blue eyes, that perhaps Dean wouldn't be leaving him to practice on his own, too soon. Dean's gaze softened, his confident and cocky expression crumbling under Cas' stare.
"Hey, Cas. I know it's a lot to deal with right now, but we'll get your grace back." Cas smiled. Thankful for the loophole.
"I'm confident we will. It's simply hard to deal with..." Cas trailed off his eyes searching Dean's.
"Human emotion and sentiment."
