Another You, Another Universe

Trip to Town: Part One

So I guess the guys want to show me around town, but then again I don't know if I want to even go into town. I don't even fit in with these people because I sure don't dress like them at all and I really don't have any clothes to fit in.

I walk out into the living room as I think to myself and I soon look to the guys. Zore says "good morning my dear." He gets up and comes over to me, lifting my hand as he kisses it. I blush lightly as I say "good morning Zore." He smiles and I soon look at Dustin with Maximus. Maximus says "Zore stop your flirting." Zore says "aww you boys are no fun." Dustin sighs softly as he looks at us all and soon says "you are horrible Zore. Flirting." I look away from all of them and Zore moves away from me. I sigh softly as I think and I say "I don't think it's a good idea for you guys to take me into town. I don't even dress like you guys do and I would stick out." I cross my arms as I look at them and they all have a thinking faces on. I grumble softly as I walk out of the living room, heading for the bedroom as I feel really worried about this whole thing and I stop in front of the door that goes to the bedroom. I open the door, but Dustin says "Destiny wait." I turn around as I look at him and I ask "what?" Dustin stands there as he holds the staff that he has and he says "I just wanted to talk to you about something since Maximus and Zore are arguing with each other." I say "oh. Um well we can talk if you want to." I motion for him to go into the bedroom and I follow him into the room as I sigh quietly. I shut the door, turning around as I look over to him sitting on the bed and I slowly walk over to him. He says "I can't keep it to myself anymore. I have been noticing how Zore is acting with you and even Maximus. I too am starting to have these feelings for you." I look at him and I can tell that Dustin is really nervous about this. I say "Dustin I appreciate you telling me this, but I don't know how I feel just yet. I'll be honest about that." I shake my head as I look down at the floor and Dustin says "I understand." I look at him as I smile softly, but soon we look to the door as Maximus and Zore come in.

Maximus says "we've done some thinking and we were arguing, but we figured out something." I look at them and Zore says "we've realized just how much we're getting feelings for you, but we're not going to force you. We want you to think about it and decide on your feelings." I don't know about this all since I'm not from their world, but I nod as I say "alright, but back to the real problem at hand. You guys know that I'll stick out if you take me into town and it's just a horrible idea." Dustin says "I thought it through actually Miss Destiny. I brought you some clothes that my sister doesn't wear anymore." I look at him as I frown and he gets the clothes for me. I say "you guys are handfuls. I'm going to change now." I take the clothes into the wash room and get changed, sighing softly to myself as I change. I look at all the scars that I have as I get the new clothes on and I feel some tears forming in my eyes. I'm a freak and I really am in this world. Why did I have to be so curious? Why did I have to care? I shake my head as I soon wipe the tears away with the sleeve of the shirt that I have on and walk out of the bathroom. I've never really been real big into wearing dresses, but this one is very elegant and beautiful. It has a red top that slowly changes to black at the bottom with some gold in the belt on it and I look at the guys as they look at me. I can tell that they're all staring at me and I look away.

Zore says "I have to say it. You look beautiful in that dress." I say "thanks." He winks at me and Maximus glares at him. Dustin says "the dress really suits you. Here. These are the boots that go with the dress." I say "thank you Dustin." He nods as he walks away and I sit on the bed, putting the boots on as I smile softly. Maximus comes over to me and says "I don't think all of us should go into town." I ask "why not?" Dustin says "I understand why. He thinks it would risk you being noticed. A lot of people know us in the town, but they wouldn't suspect anything if only one of us was with you. They would probably think that you're our lover." I blush as I say "oh well that's just great." They all look at each other and Zore says "you'll have to choose one of us of course to escort you into town." I think about it as I soon get up off the bed and I stand there. I can't really just pick one of them to go into town with me, but I have to and I start pacing back and forth. Who to choose? It's hard to choose someone when I know all three of them are great at protecting me, but then again it's almost as bad as trying to figure out who I have feelings for and who I don't. I grumble as I soon stop and I say "I'll take Dustin with me into town." He smiles at me and says "I would be honored to take you into town Miss Destiny." I smile softly as I look at him and follow him out of the house.

I don't know why I chose Dustin, but it could be that I don't want to be alone with Zore since he keeps flirting and I'm in a dress. I don't know really. I do hope that I can figure out these feelings before I return home.
