His Only Possession

Chapter 2-"Wrong move- 1"

His voice sent chills rising above her skin, and her breath caught in her throat, as Jade realize that after all this time, he still had an effect on her.

He stepped in fully in the room, then closed and locked the door. He sauntered in her direction,  getting too close for Jade's comfort.

She lifted the taser and said "S-s-stay away from m-me!" Damn! She stuttered.

A chuckle rumbled deep within his chest, then in a split second he was upon her. He held the hand with the taser in a tight grip and his other hand was wrapped around her throat.

"Now is that any way to greet me after all these years?" He questioned.

Jade tried to struggle against his hold, but that only allowed him to tighten his grip around her neck,  cutting off her airways.

He pushed himself further onto her as he spoke in a dangerous voice "now you're going to listen to me very carefully, because I'm only going to say this once. You will not be going through with this wedding, you're going to go downstairs and call it off, then you're gonna go wait for me at your old apartment building, because time has finally come for me to make you mine. Whether you want to or not." And just like that he released her and made his way to the door.

Jade was glued to the wall, Paralyzed by fear, and when he was almost out the door he turned back and said "oh and don't even think to defy me,  because if you do well, let's just say there will be consequences, because you are now mine Jade, whether you like it or not." And with that he closed the door leaving a terrified Jade behind.

Jade was so struck by his actions that it was very hard for her to wrap her mind around Lucas's Sinister words, so she paced her mind in order to figure out what to do.

She couldn't believe that after all this time he was back, but even worse she couldn't believe her reaction towards him. And that made her angry. She became angry at herself and at her fear of Lucas, and she didn't like it.

So she made up her mind that she wasn't going to let anyone push her around. I mean it was her wedding day For Heaven's Sake, and Lucas could shove it for all she cared.

Jade stared at her reflection as she tried to convince herself that she was going to be okay, that everything was going to be okay.

She smiled but it didn't reach her eyes because she could feel in the pit of her stomach that something was going to happen but no matter she wasn't going to allow him the power to intimidate her.

She didn't want to submit to her fear of him, and she continuously tried to convince herself that she was not affected by his presence, or by his words, nor by his domineering presence. She even tried to deny the fact that maybe just maybe she was still a little attracted to him.

So when the door opened and her father smiled saying "are you okay baby girl? Are you ready?" Jade smiled and nodded saying "yes, but don't forget I'm not a baby girl anymore dad."
"I know sweetie, and you have come such a long way, I'm so proud to be your father. I love you." Damien spoke sincerely.
"I know dad, I love you too." Jade replied a real smile on her face.

That day, Damien proudly walked his eldest daughter down the aisle, and the twins that Sarah gave birth to, played the roles of the ring bearers.

During the ceremony however,  she couldn't help but feel uneasy about her decision, yet she was still brushing It Off, wanting to enjoy her wedding day, and soon enough it came time to exchange their vows.

Dean volunteered to go first, he cleared his throat, smiled, and stared deeply at Jade as he said " Jade, from the moment I laid my eyes on you, I knew that I met the most beautiful person in the world. I know we had a rough start, but I couldn't deny my feelings for you. After spending so much time with you, every second spent I fell deeper and deeper in love with you. To be honest, standing here today, I feel like the most luckiest guy that has ever walked this planet, knowing that you are my one and only. I love you."

As he spoke those words, Jade couldn't help the smile that took place on her lips, and butterflies danced in her stomach when she noticed a few tears of joy slip from Dean's eyes.

The crowd cooed at the love that radiated from the couple standing at the altar, and all in the spirit of love, Jade spoke up.

"Dean, when I first met you, I will be honest with you, all I did was fantasize about you and I, if you know what I mean." Jade said then looked to her parents as she said "sorry dad." Earning a few chuckles from the crowd. Then she turned back to Dean as she continued "but, I never thought that I would be lucky enough to have someone like you in my life, better yet as my husband. I want you to know that each and every time our bond and connection gets stronger, my love for you becomes deeper. I care for you more than you can imagine, and I want you to know that no matter what, I have, I do, and I will always love you."

Then crowd erupted in awws, and Jade could feel a blush settle upon her cheeks.

Jade wasn't sure why she promised her love to him, or why she felt the need to tell him that she would always love him, but all she knew was that now was the right time to say it. Because she still felt as though the closer they got to becoming a married couple, the more her uneasiness grew.

The priest then had them face one another, then he look up at Dean saying "do you Dean Thompson take Jake Christina Reaves as your beloved wife to cherish and love through the good and the bad, health and sickness, poverty and wealth, till death do you part?"
"I do." Dean spoke up with a smile, staring lovingly into Jade's eyes.

The priest smiled and nodded in approval then turned to Jade saying "and do you Jade Christina Reaves take Dean Thompson as your beloved husband to cherish and love through the good and the bad, health and sickness, poverty and wealth, till death do you part?"
"I do." Jade said with a smile, staring lovingly at Dean.

But as soon as the words escaped Jade's mouth, a loud *BANG* was sounded across the church followed by an uproar of Chaos.

Hey guys!

Sooo as promised, here is the second chapter.

How are you guys liking it so far?

I must say that I am a bit surprised because I expected a bit more reads on the story and even a few comments, but I guess you guys are just waiting for something more exciting to happen, and from here on then that is mostly what you're going to get.

But anyways, what did you guys think about Jade's decision?
