So, this one came to be in a weird way. So to begin, I lovelovelove "Ready Aim Fire" by Imagine Dragons(GO YOUTUBE IT NOW, THEN COME BACK AND READ MY POEM), and it's about war and iron man and stuff (Okay, I'm not going to in-depth analyze it right now that'd take too long and anyways you get the idea), so I started off with a war kind of theme, but then I decided to make it happy because the world is very depressing right now, and then I decided randomly to allude to the bible. So, there you go.
*********************************************************
when terror is all we know,
when the war-torn countryside
and fields full of landmines,
ready to claim a life and
call out to Death, is
what we are accustomed tohow, how can we love?
how do we reach out to a brother
or a child we've never met?
but-human capacity is more powerful than
any tank
any rifle
or any landmine
creating dissension in the ranksand in the end
human capacity for love always wins out
selflesness to match Ruth's
patience to challenge Job,
and the love of the Lambsometimes,
that's all we have
and if that's not enough,
what is?
