You take a step back from the cabin, casting one last glance before turning and sprinting away. It's only when you're inside your own cabin that you can breathe again.
Your siblings gush in loud voices about the sleepover. You say hello and flop onto your bed. Right. Time for more important matters. What do you need for the sleepover?
Perhaps a hair brush? Spare pair of clothes? A book?
You grab what you need and them into a duffle bag, pulling the drawstring tightly shut.
About ten minutes later - which you spend making sure you don't need anything else - the conch horn blows. You head out to the front of the cabin with your other siblings and line up behind your head counsellor who does a head count. You march in single file behind everyone else.
You momentarily forget about what had happened at the Hera cabin as you enter the Pavilion. The tents are decorated with many bright orange pumpkins and blood red fairy lights. The one that seems to stick out the most is the Ares tent which has spears with imitating masks stuck on the tip.
As everyone dashes off towards their respective friend groups, Piper McLean approaches you. She wears an excited smile. "Hey Y/N!"
"Hi, Piper!" You reply, smiling in return. Out of the corner of your eye, you spot Hazel Levesque and Nico di Angelo from the Hades cabin sitting outside the Hades tent - which looks wickedly cool with the bright green lights and dark colours.
"You should come sit with us!" Piper says. "Only if you want to, that is. I'm sure you could tell us about that cyclops you killed last week? That's pretty powerful." Her kaleidoscope eyes sparkle in the fading light.
DO YOU...
Go with Piper (GO TO PART 7) OR
Go sit with Hazel and Nico (GO TO PART 6)?
