Imagine living in a world where you have a clocks on your wrist that counts down to when you will meet your soulmate, your bestfriend, when you will have your first child, and when you will die. Would you look?

Casey

I looked at all of my clocks. My soulmate clock was at 4 days 16 hours and 26 minutes. My bestfrind clock fell off when I met Erin. My child clock was at 7 years 15 days 22 hours and 12 minutes. Finally, my last clock said 87 years 67 days 8 hours and 23 minutes.

4 days past and my soulmate clock was at only 0 days 0 hours 10 minutes and 13 seconds. Mother said that I should be excited not nervous although I wipe my sweaty palms on my dress. I can't believe she made me wear a dress. I think if I'm going to meet my soulmate, they should see me for who I am. I usually wear jeans and a t-shirt. I look at my clock again. I only have 5 more minutes. I stand up in the cafeteria at my highschool. Just my luck it's someplace like this I meet him. My friends look up at me giving me thumbs ups and encouraging me to not be nervous. Some of them already had their mates with them. Others didn't.

I walked towards the middle of the room and looked at my clock. It read, 0 days 0 hours 0 minutes 9 seconds. I looked around to see everyone staring at me. It's normal for somone to loose their clock here but it's still exciting. One time a teacher lost his clock to the principal!

I look again. 3. 2. 1. Right then someone bumps into me. I look up and his blue eyes meet my gray ones. "Hello, love. I guess we're soulmates?" All I can think of to say is, "I'm glad I shaved today."
