*Danielle's POV*

I woke up in an unfamiliar room.  I was laying on a couch and a sack of ice sat atop my head.  As I tried sitting up, pain shot to the top of my head.  Someone came over to me laying me back down on the couch.  "Wh-where am I?  Who are you?" I asked.

All he said was "Shhhhh." putting a finger to my lips.

"WHERE AM I?" I yelled demanded answers.  A few other people walked in and finally someone answered me.  "You are in our house." one says.

"And you all are?" I question.

"I'm Adam, this is Jason, Mitch, Ty, Jerome, Quentin, Ian, and Autumn." said the man pointing to everyone as he listed their names.

"How do you feel?" asked who I suppose is Autumn.  Why did that name sound so familiar, Autumn...

"I'm fine.  I've got to go find someone." I try getting up again but my head throbbed uncontrollably and I fell back on the couch.

"What's your name?" asked Autumn.

"None of your business!" I spat once again trying to stand up.  Once I got to my feet I wobbled a little trying to regain balance.  I started walking but quickly realized I had no clue of where the door was, "Where's your door?" I ask.

"We aren't telling you until we get a name!" said Jason, I think.

"Ugh," I moan taking a seat back on the couch, "My name is Danielle."

"And who do you need to find?" asked Jerome.

"I-I don't remember..." How could I forget?  It was something really important! I think. Frustrated with myself I tried my hardest to remember.  Everything seemed to just fade away.  It all was gone, my memories.  They can't just grow legs and walk away [quoted from my mom irl]. It had to be somewhere in my thoughts just hidden.  Something has to jog my memory fast or it will be too late.  But too late for what?  Is it a life or death situation?  My thoughts got interrupted by Autumn.  "Well, where do you live?"

"Ermmm..." was all I could say, did I seriously have no idea where I even lived?  All I could remember was my name, pathetic.

"Amnesia" Autumn sighed.

"I'm guessing you don't remember any phone numbers and you don't have any money as well." Jason says and glances at Adam.  Adam let's out a sigh of frustration," You can stay here."

"Why would I want to stay here?  I don't even know any of you.  Well... Autumn looks oddly familiar." I say studying her.  Where have I seen her before?

*Autumn's POV*

This was getting curiouser and curiouser. (DON'T JUDGE MY ALICE IN WONDERLAND QUOTES!) I had thought she was familiar looking and she thought the same about me.  Was it true?  Did we really know each other.  The strange part about it is that she has to be a relative.  I've never had actual friends, she wouldn't know who I was unless we were related in some way.  Who is she?  "Um, Autumn.  Something wrong?"  Mitch interrupted.

"Just thinking..." I say still oblivious to my surroundings.  "Danielle, you have no where to go so the only choice you have is to stay here." demanded Jason.  Danielle seemed too tired to argue and just nodded.

"The guest room is taken, who volunteers to let Danielle stay in their room?" I questioned.

"I guess I will." announced Jason.

Later that night when everyone was going to bed, Mitch called me into his room.  He said that we needed to talk, but about what?  I softly knock on his door and he approaches it opening it up slowly to keep quiet.  "Come on in."  Mitch whispers.  I nod and walk in.  A light tan carpet covered the ground and the walls were a faded blue.  A queen sized bed with light and dark blue striped comforter took up most of the room.  After closing the door, Mitch pulled out the chair from his desk for me.  I took my seat and immediately began the conversation, "What did you need to talk about?"

"Nothing specific, I just want to know more about you.  I did just invite you to my house without knowing anything about you."

"Well what did you want to know?" I said calmness on my face.  But I wasn't calm, I was no where near calm.  Was he going to ask about my family?

"I don't know, ummm.  What's your favorite color?"

"Green."

"What's your favorite TV show?"

"Don't have one, I haven't watched TV in months.  I can't afford it." I say with a sigh.

"What do you mean you can't afford it?  You're only 16, your parents should still be paying for everything.  Where are your parents anyways?"  He did it!  He asked the only question I was afraid of.  I had to think of some excuse, and fast.

"Um, they areeeeee..... Honeymooning in Australia right now."

"So why aren't you at your house?"

Great, I had to lie again.

"I came here vacationing with my friend but she ditched me and I left all my stuff in her car." Just when I thought he was starting to believe me he asked another question, "Wait, aren't you suppose to be in school?"

"We're on break."  I was so good at lying it was actually starting to scare me.  The room got silent and we just sat there.  I had to break it some way.

"You know Danielle? I think I know her." I said.

"Is that a bad thing?" he asked concerned.

"Well no, it's just strange.  I've lived in Pennsylvania my whole life and so did everyone else in my family.  I've never had friends, except the one who ditched me, so that means Danielle and I have to be related somehow.  If we are related don't you think it's a little odd that she moved all the way over to the same exact place I was at?"

"Yea, that's a little weird..." Mitch says still thinking about it.

*Danielle's POV*

"You can have the bed." Jason say as we enter his room.  A big round white bed was in the middle of the room.  Exhausted, I flop down on the bed.  Jason snuggled up in a chair, or at least tried to.  He squirmed around searching for a comfortable position.  "Jason," I whisper.

"Yea?" he answers.

"This bed is big enough for two you know." I say hinting that he can come lay down.

"No, it's fine.  I'm perfectly comfortable."

"That chair will be comfortable when pigs fly, just come lay down." I joked.  He chuckled and joined me on the bed. "Better?" I ask.

"Much!" he giggles.  His smile was so adorable and his eyes twinkled beautifully.  The only light was provided by the moon shining through the window.  "Jason?" I ask again.

"Yea?" he says in a tired tone half asleep already.

"Thank you..." I whisper and shut my eyes slowly drifted to sleep.  Before I fell into slumber, I felt lips on my forehead.  Jason kissed me and whispered, "Good night."
