I walk into the room Michael would be in and he's awake

"Michael" I whisper

"Anna come here"

I run into his outstretched arms and quietly sob into his chest while he whispers in my ear telling me he's okay he only got a fractured leg because of they way he fell when he almost got hit by a bus

"I thought.. I thought you" I cried

"Shh I know and I'm sorry I scared you"

After a short while I was now laying next to Michael on the bed

"Have you told your mum?"

He sighs "No I haven't, I suppose I better ring her"

"Yes it's best to do it now rather than later and you know she will want you to go home"

"Yeah, I'll sort it out with her. Don't worry okay"

"Okay" I whispered

We lay there for a while when he suddenly moves and stares at me questioningly

"How did it go in Italy?" He asks

I blushed thinking of my last day there

"Uh good I um we got the project and yeah we'll be very busy" I say avoiding his gaze

"That's good then"

Just at that moment Will walks in with the guys

"Good to see you escaped with only a scratch" he chuckles

"Yeah I think someone above is looking out for me" Michael smiles

"Well I've got to head into the office so I'll see you"

He then turns to me

"Anna would you be okay here? Michelle offered to take you to the apartment"

I nod and feel my face heat up

"Yes that will be okay thank you"

He smiles and gives Michael a nod then exits the room

Michelle drives me to Michael's apartment in silence but once I unlock the door she shoves me in and slams it behind her

"Spill it down under"

"Um actually that's an Australian term"

She gives me a pointed look

"Okay okay, let's get comfy first"

We sit on the sofa and I tell her everything from the meeting to me stomping on some guys foot to the pizza pasta thing I ate and everything after that, she gasps loudly and starts shaking her hands wildly

"Oh my god" she repeats about 7 times

"I knew it" she says then begins to dig through her bad pulling out her cell phone

"YOU OWE ME A HUNDRED DOLLARS" she screams and then hangs up the phone.

She gets up and runs into the kitchen pulling out Michael's expensive wine

"Where did you get that?" I ask her

She waves her hand dismissively

"Another time the girls will be here soon"

She pulls out for glasses and fills them and waits patiently for Megan and Lucy to arrive

"Knock knock" a voice calls out

The door opens and the girls come strolling in. Lucy jumps on the couch and grabs a glass while Megan stares at me

"Okay go" Michelle chants

Sorry it's a short one today, hope you all had a lovely day tho I'm just a bit under the weather 😰
