Chapter 4: trapped in the shadows

Snape stared at me as i faced the door, i felt deeply powerless...

the twilight of the room made me look dead...

i blamed myself for everything that has happened, i know i must do something... but where do i start?..

the door opened, and calmly the next group of students came inside..

I clenched my burning chest as a Ravenclaw student greeted me, "Mrs. Saka..." she smiles politely and walks to her seat.

I nod and smile back, "Cho Chang.." I greeted in return.

a few minutes later, class had begun..

Snape scooped up a pile of papers as I rummage through a bunch on my desk..

I was checking how much potions and supplies we had, I was disappointed.

"I don't think we'll have enough supplies to last us the entire year... I can't do anything about it unfortunately, maybe I can visit the green house and see if Professor Sprout is having better luck..." I suggested kindly.

"you won't mind if I leave again? do you?.." I grin playfully.

he stared at me awhile, then pulled me into a warm friendly hug.

my facial expression turned surprised..

"just be careful..." he ordered sincerely.

he let me go, I smiled at him and slowly gestured my head in agreement..

I slipped my coat on and open the door peacefully to proceed outside into the chillier weather as the day and time progressed...

I headed to the green house feeling somewhat confident, I was passing the main courtyard when I caught a glimpse..

I stop with curiosity, and face it..

resting on the roof of the pathway in the far distance, was a black shadow or silhouette of a woman..

I noticed the silhouette looks to have curly hair and a very slim figure, but that's all I could seem to make out..

as I stare at this... person. Harry, Hermione, and Ron. was approaching, with a look on their face that of mischief..

I felt threatened by this shadows presence, I was feeling very protective.. which causes me to be strict and stern..

I notice them and look over, "Hello.. Ms. Sakakura.." Harry muttered.

I was pestered by the idea that they were lurking about alone outside like this, "why are the three of you out of class?.. you should be inside right now.. go now." I demand in a stern but concerned tone.

they look at each other briefly, then quickly scurry away..

I resume my business and look back over at the silhouette, after ten seconds.. it faded away..

For a few, I kept staring at the location where the mysterious shadow was spotted.. then I finally and slowly turn away and head down the pathway..

as I walked into a dark, chilling tunnel with dimly and gloomy lit windows... something happens to Lucius, miles away..

he was minding his own, traveling down an echoing hallway at work..

he was on his way to a meeting, when suddenly two silhouette's appeared behind him..

one was a male figure, and the other was a female figure.. much like the one I saw..

the female figure whispers loud enough for Lucius to hear faintly, and make a confused expression..
