The events of this book as well as many of the characters are based around the Elder Scrolls series of video games: specifically the fourth and fifth entries in the series, Oblivion and Skyrim.
However, the main storyline of the story, as well as the characters Goken Dragonspyre, Thaddeus Dragonspyre and Callista Dragonspyre belong to me and are of my own creation.
