John. -SH
Could it absolutely not wait one minute? You texted me ONE MINUTE before I got off and my patient saw. -j
No, it couldn't. And I'm sorry. -SH
No, you're not. -j
You're right. -SH
Come at once to Baker Street. Lestrade is here waiting for you. And come quickly, because he brought the whole team, which includes Anderson. -SH
On my way. -j
John walked into 221B approximately 18 minutes later to the sight of Anderson holding a fishbowl of thumbs. His phone buzzed.
can't talk here. u and s get in the cab with me & everyone else will take another one. -Greg
John looked up at Lestrade.
Ok but why? -j
tell u in the cab -Greg
"Okay, let's go. To the crime scene!" Lestrade called. "Anderson, put those down."
Did Lestrade text you too? -SH
Yes. -j
I'm guessing something important. -SH
Wow, your powers of deduction are really at work here. -j
Be serious. -SH
You started it. -j
:$ -SH
John and Sherlock got into the first cab with Lestrade. He began talking.
"Every year, I go to see a crime movie. I went last week, and I saw Try, Try Again. It was okay, but the thing is- well, it sounds ridiculous, but the movie is coming true. Two victims, with three different head wounds apiece, found propped up against a wall, made to look alive. It's the exact same. What is going on?"
"You mean... It's the exact same? Clothes and everything?" John asked. When Lestrade nodded, he leaned back in his chair.
"And you have two plausible explanations. Either you are crazy or some killer is playing along, following the script of Try, Try Again. Let me assuage your doubts: you aren't crazy. Therefore, someone is out there, trying to stick to a story. The question is, will they change the ending? Lestrade close your eyes. I need you to remember the exact plot."
"I can't, Sherlock. But we can go to the movie theater and watch it. Are you guys open?"
"Anything to catch a killer!" Sherlock exclaimed.******
7:15 pm 1/4
get s and meet me outside. 7:30 try try again -Greg
John and Sherlock got into the waiting cab with Lestrade. "Let's go catch a killer!"
*******9:30 pm 1/4
can't talk. partition broken. cabbie might hear. what do u think? -Greg
It seems highly unlikely that the killer will follow the ending, as I doubt he or she wishes to blow up all of England. -SH
It's possible. -j
No, the killer has only killed the first two victims- traitors of the country. So we know he's following the theme of nationalist. The ending was highly different from the character's motive. The killer would change the ending. -SH
yeah, but to what? -Greg
Sherlock looked away from his phone.
He doesn't know. -j

221B's doorbell rang. Lestrade was waiting outside.
8:01:01 am 1/5
Sherlock opened the door. "Let's go. JOHN!"
Hello, Billy. We know. -SH
8:09 am 1/5
John, Sherlock, and Lestrade got out of the cab and rang Billy Waters's doorbell. His maid opened the door. "Hello, have we met?" she asked.
"No..." Sherlock swept past her.
John waved halfheartedly. "Uh, hello."
"Police." Lestrade flashed his badge.
"BIL-" The maid's scream was cut off by Sherlock's hand. "You mustn't scream."
John, Sherlock, and Lestrade went upstairs and opened the door.
There they saw something only Lestrade was prepared for."SURPRISE!" Everyone said. Sherlock blinked. "I never told you my birthday."
"You told me!" Molly said from behind the couch. "And it was in your lease form, dearie." Mrs. Hudson smiled.
Even Anderson was there. "Happy birthday, I suppose, though this doesn't change anything."
Sally was beaming. "Happy birthday, freak.""But... Lestrade... the movie- the murder! How-" John stuttered.
"Oh, John, it was obvious, and not much of a surprise."
"Obvious?!?"
