Also on a side note look at those hideous socks. If they can be called that. I can't believe something so terrible exists. This could traumatize a child.
John sighed as he unlocked his door. It had been another hard one. Murder, by strangulation, it had seemed. But then, nothing is ever as it seems. He had studied the corpse for about three minutes (much longer than usual- was he getting old?) before proceeding to trounce Anderson's weak and frankly foppish conclusions soundly. Had the man even noticed the victim's lipstick shade? John shook his head. Amateurs.
He trudged up the stairs, weary with the stupidity of the world. He started, violently. A strange man was sitting in his chair. Tall, thin, pale... God might just have a soft spot for John Watson.
"Hello," John said, conversationally.
The strange man commented, "Terrible drapes. We'll have to fix that. And the wallpaper! Well!"
"Those are my mother's drapes you're insulting, and you are...?"
"Flatmate. (A/N: lol my phone tried to correct that to flat mate which is what sherlock was after he jumped l o l) Genius. Expert violinist. What has been referred to as a "prick". Hungry."
"Your name might be helpful."
"Holmes. Sherlock, to be precise." John went to give the strange man a handshake and an introduction, but he was interrupted. "No need, Watson. I know who you are. And I know enough about you to know that you knew who I was too. You simply asked to keep up appearances. Dreadful habit."
And John thought he might keel over with happiness. Here was someone to grow old with.
A/N again: yeah idk where that was supposed to go but I hope yall liked it. It's been a while since I updated and a bunch of people have been asking so :-)
I don't really have that much time during the school year; sorry bbs.
