*ALLISON'S POV*
Tonight is the ball and I'm stuck, still being forced to go with nobody. I rolled my eyes as looking at myself in the mirror. I found some cheap ass dress that was an awful pink color and I was wearing a mask that I painted pink to match. I groaned. I looked like fucking cotton candy! Are you fucking kidding me?
"Allison...." I heard my brother groan and I turned around.
"No way. Stay away." I said to my brother. Turned out a stomach flu was being passed around in his school and I was not about to have my brother barf on me or something. That would be hell.
"Mom is busy and I don't feel good." Henry said and I rolled my eyes. Why did I have to be a caring, loving sister? I walked over to him and hugged him as he whimpered "Allison..." My brother mumured
"Yeah?" I asked
"I'm gonna blow" Henry yelled and he blew. All over that freaking pink poofy damn dress. The thing looked like cotton candy that fell on the floor and then a kid vomited on it from drinking too many slushies at the carnival
"HENRY!" I yelled and Henry's eyes widened "OH GOD!"
"Oh my...." Henry mumbled
"MOTHER!!!" I screamed and my mom ran up, watching the scene
"Oh good. He didn't get it on the carpet." My mom looked relieved
"Mom! He barfed on me!" I yelled.
"Okay. Henry, bathroom now. Allison, take the dress off and throw it away now." My mom said.
I walked to the bathroom, slipping off the dress and throwing it in a bag, gagging. I put on my robe, looking at my hair that was curled and my dark makeup that I had on. I spent an hour on that for nothing. I stomped downstairs and threw the trash away. My mom was in the kitchen, getting some soup ready. "So, I can't go to the dance now. Right?" I asked, praying she'd say I can't.
"No. You can go." My mom said and she backed up from the pot "Follow me."
"Mom. the dress is a mess. I can't save it at all and-"
"Shh" My mom interrupted me "I have a dress from a ball I had and it's perfect. It'll fit you and everything" She walked into her room, smiling "You didn't think I'd let you wear that drastic disaster of pink mess"
I smiled, rolling my eyes as she opened her wardrobe, revealing a dress that was green and gold and lacy and wonderful, along with a matching mask. As you can tell, I'm not a girly girl but the dress was amazing. "Oh my goodness" I muttered, gasping
"You like it?" My mom asked
"I love it.." I muttered. I turned to my mom "Thank you" I hugged her
"Alright, Get your dress on. The dance is soon" My mom said and she walked off. My mom was kind of like my fairy godmother. Well Fairy Mother. I smiled as slipping on the dress. I looked in the mirror and put the mask on. I was so different and weird. I didn't look like Allison Smith. I looked like a princess. I slowly walked down the stairs, making sure not to trip when I heard my dad gasp
"Oh my...You are so beautiful." My dad said and I smiled.
"Thanks dad." I said and then I heard a honk
"Got to go. I'll be home by 12:30. No kissing and no boys. Love you guys! Bye!" I said and ran out the door, to the car Niall was driving. I opened the door and sat in the back, Charlotte sitting with Niall in the front. Niall was wearing a tux with a blue tie and a black mask with a little blue. Charlotte's hair was now blue for her dress and she was wearing a ocean blue, flowing gown and a white mask. Charlotte turned around and gasped.
