'We were just friends'

Does she love me?

                        Dan's POV
Oh my god today went amazing! I can't quite work out what me and Jemma are. We're definitely friends if nothing else. I did hug her before coming inside but apart from that nothing happened. Oh well I guess it's only the first day. My mum works until 5:00 so me and brother entertain ourselves until she's back. After an intense gaming session, we hear the door unlock and our mum's cheerful voice. We make our way downstairs to tell her wait school was like. I mention I made a friend but don't tell her anything else and signal my brother to do the same. After a 15 minute chat, my mum proceeds to put dinner on. We have two large pizzas set out for us on the table. I love pizza!! After 20 minutes we have totally destroyed both pizzas leaving barely any pieces behind. I run up too my room and collapse on my bed. I'm sooo tired. I fall asleep in 10 minutes ready for the next day of school. I can't wipe the beaming smile off my face. Jemma is such a lovely girl. This is the first time I've gone to bed happy since my parents split. I really hope she feels the same about me
