No time jump. Again this is a mature chapter. I might just put mature in the bio. I will say that most of this book is not completely true but you know, it's called fiction for a reason.
Dan's POV
"Actually Dan. The reason I'm so upset is because of what that ex did." Jemma says whilst taking a deep breath and fighting back tears. "What do you mean? Did he..." I can't finish my sentence. Jemma knows what I mean and shakes her head. "No. He...made me stay with him. I kept saying I wanted to break up with him but he wouldn't let me. He said I was stupid." Jemma looks down at the floor. "I bet you think I'm a coward." Jemma says. Wow. This guy really made some phycological damage. He verbally and maybe physically abused her. I wanna kill him. "No I don't. I think he's an idiot and he was obviously desperate. Did he ever hit you?" I ask with caution. Jemma again shakes her head. "No but he threatened me with... things" She replies. I can tell what she means. It sounds like him and Jemma had a very different relationship then me and her. I could legit kill him. "How come your mum let him in?" I ask still seething in anger. "She thought we were good together." Jemma replies with a tone of anger. She continues "I've never told anyone what HE did too me. So please don't tell anyone." Jemma begs. "Of course I won't. Thank you for trusting me. Don't let him ruin your weekend celebrations. We can do whatever you want now but tomorrow we ARE going to the park. Ok?" I say. "Okay. So we can do whatever we want now? " Jemma replies with a grin on her face. "That's my girl. Yes we can." I reply with a huge grin on my face. "Can we play a few more games? Pleaseee" Jemma pleads. I kiss her passionately putting my hand on her cheek. "Of course." I reply, my face inches away from hers. She has made me a lot more confident then what I was at the start of our relationship. "I love you." I whisper. "I love you too" she continues. "So wanna play Super Mario Bros.?" I chuckle and agree. This is set too be a perfect night which is all she needs right now.
