After school I was driving past the barn I use to ride at. I really wondered why we had to drive past it, why can't we drive another way. Pebble Creek Farms is the name of my old barn, after my accident I never show my face there again. I never even said goodbye to my friends or my best friend, my favorite lesson pony. But since we drive past my old barn's pastures everyday I see Chip, my favorite lesson pony. But I always hate it, because it reminds me how much I miss it there. But I can't go back it been to long, 4 years.
Today was different though, there was Chip in the pasture and his pony pals Blueberry, Dakota, and Perry. But today there was another pony at the far end of the pasture away from the other ponies. This pony was the same size as the rest but had a beautiful Snow White coat unlike the rest. Chip was a chestnut, Blueberry was a blue roan, Dakota was a grullo pinto, and Perry was a palomino. There wasn't even a gray horse in the barn at Pebble Creek Farms. All the girls at the barn must be excited about this pony I thought to myself. I felt bad because the pony was all alone, the other ponies probably hasn't excepted the gray in the herd yet.
The school bus was past the pasture and I thought about how much homework I had. But the little gray pony kept popping into my mind. Even when I got home when I was doing my homework. I couldn't focus, so I took a short homework break. Usually when I think about the horses from my old barn, it only stays with me only on the bus, but now it's just crazy. So I stayed up late just to finish homework, because I was so distracted.
