Chapter 22

Chapter 22 Lena's POV

We had changed into clothes after I was able to unlock the door. I ended up getting Liam's shirt from the toilet even if it was disgusting. I threw it at him after I enter the room, he had shrieked out so loud and threw the shirt to the ground. I burst out laughing and fell to the ground holding onto my sides. His face! My god, that was the best pay back I had ever had! So far.... "That was not very nice Lena." Liam grumbled at me. I stopped laughing and sat on my bottom and leaned on my arms which I stretched out behind me. "I'm sorry but I'm bored and you were my only entertainment." I told him sweetly and smiled at him. He glared at me and stood up, he walked over to the shirt and picked it up from the ground. Walking over to the hamper he threw his shirt in and the next thing I knew he whipped off his shirt. My eyes widen and I watched him, his back flexed as he pulled off his shirt. I sighed and watched his toned back flex and his muscles move. He closed the hamper and turned around, Liam had noticed I was staring at him and smirked. I blinked and looked at his eyes that were amused at my reaction to his fit body. "Do you like what you see?" he asked and pointed to his body. I rolled my eyes and lay on back on the hard ground. "I've seen better." I replied with, the thing was that I lied. He was the best guy I had seen yet. "So what do you want to do?" Liam asked me and lay down next to me laying his head on his arms. "Well, we could just lay here and stare at he ceiling." I said and turned my head to looked at him. He had his eyes close, I saw his fringe on his forehead and saw that is hair was a deep but brown chocolate color. "Can you sing?" Liam asked me suddenly. I froze and noticed that Liam had his eyes open and was watching me. "Yeah....why?" I asked him confused. He smiled and I frowned, what did he have in mind. "Why don't we have a sing off or just sing songs to pass the time." Liam asked me. I looked away and thought of what could happen if I sang, no one would know that I sang only Liam. I was bored and I haven't sang in a while. "Sure, so how do we do this?" I asked him and looked at him once again. I noticed he had put on a shirt and groaned slightly. "Well, I was think of starting off and you would have to follow after I stop to a song's next lyrics. How does that sound?" "What are the rules?" "If you miss a note or sing the wrong pitch them you lose. The winner gets a prize from the loser." "Okay, wait can you also put in that if the singer forgets their line they lose?" "Sure, I see why not but if we do that then we should get three tries." "Agreed." "Then I guess I will begin, give me a moment. Oh, and if you don't know the song tell the other." I waited for Liam to choose a song and thought of some songs I knew by heart.

Liam's POV

I started in shock as Lena sang Louis part with ease. I had sang Harry's part not sure if she would know our song 'Rock Me'. She had surprised me with sing all the lines correct. It wasn't just her knowing the song but her voice, it was amazing. Better than any of us guys in our band, I wasn't a professional but I new Lena had talent. I choose to change up the song when she finished singing Louis' soul.

Look at him look at me that boy is bad and honestly he's a wolf in disguise but I can't stop staring in those evil eyes I stopped and waited to see if she could figure out the song 'Monster' by lady gaga. She frowned for a minute then opened her mouth and sang the next lines. I asked my girlfriend if she'd seen you round before she mumbled something while we got down on the floor baby we might've fucked not really sure, don't quite recall but something tells me that I've seen him, yeah.

I listened to her amazed and thought why she hadn't tried to become a singer. With a voice like that she could become a famous singer. I listed and realized that my part was coming soon.

I looked at her confused not sure what the song was that she sang. I couldn't remember hearing it before, I knew that I didn't have any choice but to lose a point. "Well, Lena it seems you have made me lose a point. For I don't know the song you are singing and I rather just say I lost a point." I put in to stop her from arguing. "If you say so, you do know that you have two points right?" she asked me and looked at the ceiling. I wanted her to look at me so I could look at her bright green eyes that were just beautiful. "I know, but I going to back out and say you won." I said softly. I watched as she blinked and turned her head slowly to me. She searched my face in confusion not sure why I let her win. "Why? Don't you want to beat me?" "Well, I do but I don't think I can beat you." I told her honestly. She looked at me in shock and sat up. "What do you mean! Your Liam Payne, your 1/5 of the One Direction!! Your are a professional singer, I'm just an average girl who can sing well." I looked at Lena in shock, how could she believe that? I sighed and sat up to look at her clearly. "Lena, you don't really believe that do you?" I asked her softly. "Yes, I do. Now can we not talk about this." she asked and looked away from me. I sighed and got up to see if I could go down stairs and get a snack. I reached the door and looked back to see Lena staring at me with sad eyes and something else I couldn't describe. I grabbed the door knob and turned it then pulled on it. The door didn't moved, I pulled on the knob and turned it. Nothing, it was locked. "The door won't open." I said and looked back to see Lena standing right at my side furious. "Sh*t! Woman, don't you make noise when you walk." I screamed at her and placed my hand over my heart. She rolled her eyes and pushed me aside and went to the door. She jiggled the handle and growled, I smiled thinking she was cute when angered. "They had to lock us in the bathroom, that wasn't enough so they had to lock the bedroom door also!" she moved away from me and went over to a bunk and sat down on it. "Well, a least we aren't in the bathroom you know." I mention to her, I was trying to cheer her up. "I guess..... is it alright with you if I take a nap?" she asked me. "I don't mind." I told her and watched her pull back the covers and slip under them. I sighed and sat down next to the door, pulling out my phone I text one of the guys.

To:Niall From:Liam Where are you guys??

"Liam?" Lena called out. "Yes, Lena?" "Could you....snuggle with me?" she asked nervously. I was taken back from her request. "Sure, may I ask why?" "I feel cold and I can't warm up." she stated, I stood up and placed my phone into my pocket. I walked over to her and slipped off my shoes. Climbing in behind her I spooned her into my chest and rested my head on top of her head. I sighed and pulled the blanket over the two of us and closed my eyes. The sounds of her breathing fill the room with mine and I knew that she had fallen asleep. Maybe Niall was right, that I was in love with Lena. I pushed the thought out of my mind and remembered Harry looking at her. I knew that if I wanted her to be mine then I had to win her heart. Leaning forward I pressed a kiss on to her head and snuggled into her.
