A/N
In this story, the girl's name is Yinyin. (Don't ask where I got it from) You and Altair have grown up together in the same house since you can remember. He always treated you like his younger sister. You never knew what happened to his parents or yours. But, one day, everything changed.

Yinyin's p.o.v
I walked over to the training ring in the castle. Altair was over there training some Novice. I went over there and watched. Sometimes I thought he was too hard on them. But, he would always say the same thing, 'it makes them stronger.'
Altair p.o.v
I jumped out of the training ring as Yinyin has waking closer. Another assassin walked in front of me. Fear written all over his face.
"Altair sir, Al Muliam would like to speak to you." He then ran away, scared out of his mind. I shook it off and looked back to where Yinyin was standing. But, she was gone. I walked into Al Muliam's library, head bowed.
"Master. You sent a request."
"I did. Altair I need you and Yinyin to go and assassinate the ruler of the Templars."
"Al Muliam, are you sure I just can't do this by myself? Last time you did that someone ended up dead."
"Altair do not question my actions"
"Yes sir" I walked out and ran straight for home where Yinyin was.

Yinyin p.o.v.
I was sitting on my bed, planning for my next mission in a couple of months when there was a knock on the door. I walked over slowly and opened it with caution, like Altair had told me to do. When I opened it though, Altair was out there standing in the pouring rain patiently.
"Altair! What are you doing out there? Come in, come in!"
"Thanks. I have to tell you something Yinyin."
"What is it Altair?"
"Al Muliam wants me and you to go on a mission together."
"Oh okay. That should be easy. Right?" I could see the fear on his face.
"Altair? What's wrong?"
"Last time I went on a mission with someone, one person didn't make it back. I don't want to make that mistake again. Especially when you're the one coming."
"Alty-" I tried to finished but he stopped me.
"I know how you feel but I can't risk you coming with me Yinyin" I sighed
"Fine"
"Thank you" He left and headed towards the castle. I watched him through the window as the sun's orange and yellow rays came through the glass. I went to the closet when he was out of sight and grabbed my black assassin robes. I was the only one who had a pair just in case because I was the only girl.
"Nothing is going to go wrong on this mission" I said to myself while I put them on and grabbed my spare weapon: a bow and arrow. I pulled my (h/c) hair away from my face and shoved it into the hood as I pulled it over my face. I then ran out the door. I followed slowly after Altair.

Altair p.o.v.
I walked into Al Muliam library.
"Ah Altair. Here for your missions details?"
"Yes."
"Where's Yinyin?"
"Sick. She came down with a sickness and cannot join me on the mission"
"Ah. I see. Well then, here's is your information"

Yinyin p.o.v.
I followed slowly behind Altair, scaling rooftops and passing from hay bale to hay bale, careful not to make to much noise and draw attention. Altair had yet to notice me and we were at the gates to the Kingdom. I had to slowly take a horse behind Altair but he was never once out of my sights. I followed him all the way to Jerusalem. He joined a group of scholars and snuck into the city. I followed. When I was in, I raced to the Bureau. Once there I dropped down and ran to the counter.
"MALIK! CLOSE THE GATE!"
"Yinyin? Why?"
"Don't question me and do it already!"
"Fine fine." He closed the bureau's gate and looked at me with suspicion.
"Yinyin why did I have to close the gate?"
"Look, Altair and me were supposed to go on a mission together but he said not to come so as far as he knows, I'm in Maysaf and as far as Al Muliam knows, I have a sickness right now alright?"
"I get it, but why are you here?"
"I have to do the mission no matter what Altair thinks. I am going to help him whether he likes it or not."
"Alright Yinyin. Teach that poor bastard one of his own tricks. Here. That's where he's going and that's his target. I'd get going if I was you. He's probably half way there by now."
"Thank you Malik."
"Anytime Yinyin." I jumped up, out of the bureau. Looking at the papers Malik gave me, Altair was going to attempt to assassinate Robert again. How well was this going to go?
