My Alpha

Love? ~Chapter 3~

"Now that we aren't at school with hundreds of ears, I'll finish explaining. I am the alpha of a pack of werewolves. We are the Moonstone Rock Pack." He said as we walked into my house.

"I'm really confused right now." I said sighing as he laughed.

"I imagine you would be. Anyone would be in this situation." Jake said as I sat on my couch. He sat next to me and we sat there for a few minutes in silence. There was a knock on the door, and then whoever it is starter banging on the door. We stood up and the door fell.

Jake suddenly picked me and ran out the back door and into the woods. We came to a field that has a river next to it, and a few rocks. He hides me behind one of the big rocks before turning to look at Luke. "Why are you going after Emma?" Jake asked as Luke smirked.

"Well, she is your mate. Even if you don't force her to be, doesn't change a thing. Especially since you really do like her." Luke said laughing a bit. "Makes her all the more fun to chase."

"Shut up. If you hurt her ever again, I'll kill you." Jake said growling. A shadow looms over me. I turn to see a man with red eyes and fangs. He picks me up and and starts running in the opposite direction of Jake. When he stops we are at a mansion, and he drops me in one of the rooms. He walked to the room door and locked it behind him.

I ran too it and tried to open the door. "Let me out!" I screamed banging my fists on the door. After a minute I back into a corner and sit. I curled up into a ball. A few minutes later the door is unlocked and Luke walks in. He shut the door behind him, and someone on the outside locks the door again.

"You're mine now, you understand?" He asked as he kneeled infront of me. I looked up at him.

"I'm not your property." I said glaring at him. He slapped me and one of his nails scratched my cheek. It started to bleed as tears streamed down my cheek. He stared at my blood and licked his lips. Suddenly he gripped my wrist and threw me too the ground. Both of my wrists were pinned to the ground, and he leaned in.

He slowly licked the blood off my cheek. I started shaking in fear. "I like it more when you're scared." He said bitting my neck quickly. I screamed out in pain. When he pulled his fangs out he got off of me. "I'll be back for more of your blood in the morning. Goodnight."

I started crying more when he left. I sat in the corner the entire night. Not getting any sleep. The next morning Luke walked in and grabbed my arm, making me stand up. He pushed me against the wall and smirked.

"See this flower I have?" He asked lifting up a purple weed like flower. "It's called wolfsbane. It's highly lethal to werewolves."

He cupped one of my cheeks with his hand. "Why do you need it...?" I asked as he leaned on close to my ear.

"We are going to have fun. I don't want Jake to stop me." He said throwing me on the bed. "I'll be right back."

A few minutes after he disappeared Jake busted the door down and I looked at him worried. "Jake... you need to run..." I said when he came up too me.

"I'm not leaving you." He said before falling to his knees. Luke was behind him still holding the flower. Jake tried to stand, but Luke punched him and he hit the wall. Luke dropped the flower next to him, then turned to me.

"Shall we begin?" He asked as I looked from Jake to him. More and more tears streaming down my cheeks. When he was right in front of me he put his hand up to my cheek again. "Sh, don't worry. I'll kill you when this is over."

He slowly pushed me onto the bed. "Leave her alone Luke." Jake said trying to stand again, but falling.

"J-Jake, help." I said gripping the sheets as Luke started to lean in to kiss me. Jake grabbed Luke's shirt and threw him off the bed and through the window. I sat up and Jake hugged me quickly. He pet my hair a little as I cried into his shoulder.

"Are you okay?" He asked pulling away and looking at me. I shook my head yes, barely being able to talk. Jake picked me up and carried me out. He started to carry me home. "Emma, I'm sorry that you got dragged into this."

"Its okay, you didn't mean for me to be dragged into it. Why does he want to hurt me anyways?" I asked as he sighed.

"You're my mate, and I'm actually in love with you. I don't want to force you into it though. I'm letting you have your own choice in this." He said as I stared at him shocked from him saying he loves me. "If you want I'll leave and forget you. I'll stay if you want. That's your choice, but I don't want to rush you."

"Don't leave." I said after he put me down. "I'm not sure if it's love I feel, but it's something. You're important to me. Really important. You've got to give me more time though."

"Of course, as much time as you need." He said smiling.

"So, this pack of yours. Will they be okay with me being... well..." I said as he looked back at me.

"Human? You won't be the first. For our pack yes, but they'll accept you." He said looking at pictures from when I was younger. "Emma, listen. Luke won't be the only one that comes after you. There are others. I'll ask you this once. Are you sure you want me to stay with you?"

I was a bit scared when he said more would come. Looking away quietly I thought about what I should do. When I look back at where he was, he was gone. I started crying a bit, but started working on fixing the door. The entire time I cried. An hour or so later I give up on fixing the door. Backing into a corner I slide down the wall and curl up into a ball.

The next morning I call one of my aunt's friends to come and fix it. I decided not to go to school. When he came to fix the door he asked how it broke, and I told him it came off of its hinges. When he was done he left and closed the now fixed door behind him. I get up and walk to the back door opening it.

I'm going to go look for Jake. I don't want him to leave. I could have avoided this if I had just told him how I really felt. Standing on the edge of the forest, I look in. Taking a gulp of fear. I just hope I can find him.
