It was already to late though. Jake knew it, yet he still continued to fight Daniel. "Come on Jake, little Emma belongs to me now. I'll return her when I'm done with my revenge. You have a vampires promise." Daniel said smirking.
Jake didn't talk, he only growled. He's full wolf form, which means he got so angry, he'll act like a wolf animal. Jake pounced at Daniel, beginning to scratch him.
"You should at least honor your word, Jake." Daniel said before punching him off. "This is just pitiful."
"Jake... calm down... you'll never win if your like this..." I said trying to wipe my tears. Jake looked at me, seeming to calm a little.
Daniel chuckled as he noticed this. "I haven't done enough to her yet." Daniel said looking back at me. Suddenly, his lips were against mine, and I was trying to push him off.
Daniel forced his tongue in, playing with mine. Jake ran at us, but Daniel grabbed him by his throat. Daniel's other arm stayed wrapped around me as he kept kissing.
I needed to breath, and he finally pulled away. A trail of saliva followed his tongue out of my mouth. My breath was heavy, and my face red.
"How's that for a kiss?" Daniel teased as a tear dripped off my cheek. I was worn out simply from the kiss. Jake was growling again, reverting back to full wolf form.
I looked at Jake, my eyes big and full of fear and sadness. Daniel let him go and unwrapped his arms. He disappeared before Jake could attack him.
I fell to my knees, spitting, trying to get the traces of him out of my mouth. "Emma..." Jake wrapped his arms around me. "I couldn't protect you, I'm sorry."
I snuggled into him, wiping my eyes on his shirt. I didn't speak, I was to scared of Daniel coming back. My entire body trembled, even with Jake holding me. He picked me up and walked me home.
Once there I was placed in my bed, where he looked at me sadly. "Emma, please say something." I simply shook my head, not want to speak until I calmed down. He sat on my bed, moving closer to me. His hand cupped my cheek as he kissed me, but I got scared and pushed him away.
I sat in the corner of my bed, my head buried in my knees. All I could think about was what Daniel was going to do to me. Jake took my blanket and wrapped it around me. I watched him as he stood, walking over to my mirror. He examined his new scars, a sad look on his face.
Suddenly, as if anger began to pulse through him, he punched the mirror. I jumped a little, covering myself with my blanket. He quickly walked out, but I screamed his name. Jake looked back at me, barely a smile left on his face. "Remember, Emma, I'll always love you." He took off, but I was to scared to follow.
