We walked up to the station, this time not holding hands and went inside. They looked at me strange and then a man came up to me.
"Why isn't he wearing handcuffs?" He asked going to grab Louis' arm but I swatted him away.
"Because he doesn't need them." I replied and he looked at me like I was crazy. The man simply shook his head and lead us back to the room we had set to talk to him in. I wasn't allowed to go in but I could stand by the window, which I did.
They asked Lou a bunch of questions and someone would occasionally come ask me if the story matched what I was told and each time I said yes. Louis told the truth the whole time and finally they came outta the room.
"Well I don't think we'll have to put him on trial it seems to me as though he didn't do much wrong. You said he threw the gun somewhere in the alley bulletless is that right?" He asked. Me and Lou both nodded.
"Alright well-" he was cut off by a man whispering something in his ear.
"Ok turns out the man was just told what happened and he is not pressing charges, boy you're free to go."
Louis smiled and so did I. He headed right outside to my normal car.
"You want a ride home?" I asked,
"Well, I don't really wanna go home."
He looked down, and I could tell something was wrong.
"What?- Why not?" I asked.
"I-I don't really wanna talk about it."
He seemed to be getting upset.
"Ok well is there a friends house I can take you to?"
He went and sat on the curb and tossed a stone.
"No.." He said very quietly. I didn't know what else to do but he started to walk away as if he couldn't go anywhere.
"Do you wanna come to my house?"
I asked him kind of in a hurry with my words and he turned back around and walked toward the car.
"Are you sure?" He asked. I nodded and he smiled widely getting into the car. I got in as well and started it pulling out of the parking lot and heading home. I lived alone so I think having someone there will be nice even if its only for a night. I looked over at Louis and saw him staring at nothing with a sad expression. I placed a hand on his shoulder and squeezed a little to give him some reassurance. He smiled and put his hand over mine.
Soon enough we pulled up to my flat and I shut off the car. I looked over at him but he was already looking at me and I smiled. "Let's go in!" I said as I opened my door and got out. He stepped out and we walked up to the door. I unlocked it and he walked inside as I turned on the lights. I'm glad I had cleaned earlier. Louis stood there looking awkward but gorgeous and I kinda felt bad, as he seemed lonely. Me being 25 it seemed weird to think the way I did about some one so much younger but there wasn't that
much of a difference. I didn't want this to be any more awkward than it needed to be.
"Ya hungry?" I asked. He nodded and we headed toward the kitchen. "What would you like?" I asked.
"Your name." He replied with a smile. Smart ass.
"My name's Harry." I said with a giggle. "Now to make that more specific, what would you like to eat?" He laughed and answered quietly. "..I want bacon.." He replied looking out the kitchen window. I laughed and he looked at me strange but started to laugh along. "Bacon it is!" I said excitedly. I went to the fridge and got out bacon along with eggs and some bread from the cupboard. "How about some breakfast for dinner?" I asked and he nodded with a smile and I turned on the oven after getting out a pan and some oil. I prepared the meal and sat 2 plates at my kitchen island. We sat down and started to eat.
"So why won't you tell me why you won't go home?" I asked and he didn't seem to like the question but he answered anyway.
"I don't know it's just not really something I like talking about." he said as he just looked down at his now empty plate which I took and sat in the sink with mine. "We'll if you end up wanting to talk about it, I'll be here to listen." When I said that he looked into my eyes and smiled, as if no one has ever told him something like that. "You wanna watch a movie or something?"
"Yea sure, uh what movies do you have?" He looked toward the tv and got up to walk towards it so I followed. "I have Netflix so you can pick whatever you want." I went and turned on the tv and game him the controller to browse Netflix with. He seemed to be a fan of scarier movies as he stayed in the horror section the whole time.
"What about this one?" He pointed the the movie on the screen. "Grave Encounters? I've never heard of it. Lets watch it!" He plopped on the couch and he sat next to me. He sat pretty close but I didn't mind. I don't really like scary movies so in all honesty it was probably a good idea to have him closer.
As the movie started I realized it was a documentary type movie sort of like paranormal activity, but this one showed a lot more and was a lot scarier than them. I jumped a few times and I didn't take my eyes off the screen, although it was scaring the shit outta me it was a pretty good movie in itself.
I felt Louis move closer so we were side by side and he grabbed my hand again, the way he had when we were in the alley. I didn't look at him but I smiled. He noticed and gave my hand spittle squeeze and layer his head on my shoulder with his legs upon the couch.
By the time the movie ended he had fallen asleep so I picked him up considering he wasn't heavy and carried him to the guest room.
I laid him down and covered him with the comforter to keep him warm and then I headed to my room. After I got there I shut the door and striped to my boxers then lay down for bed.
