From the beginning

The Move

This part will be told in Ruby's POV so if you'd like to see different then let me know. Don't play the song until I say plus I don't own Pokèmon or this song.

It was a long journey but we made it to Hoenn and my old friend from Sycamores summer camp lives in Littleroot town and instead of getting a starter from here I already have a Fenniken from Sycamore, and from what I heard, someone will be performing a song with his brother and his uncle, for me when we arrive.

"Hey Ruby, snap out of it, we're about ten minutes away so get ready with your Fenniken." My older brother Yummy was driving the moving truck. Our parents passed away when we were young and they passed through a car crash. "Oh yeah." I brought out Fenniken's pokèball and she came out, appeared on my lap and gave me a smile. "We'll be there in a few minutes, you ready?" She nodded and sat down, we drove up to a house and when I jumped out I heard a song start. (Now)

I looked around back and I saw a young man around the same age as Yummy, another young man about a year older and a man in his mid thirties. The one who looked the same age as Yummy wore a red jacket with a rip out of the left arm, had an orange shirt underneath, had dog chains on his belt, wore blue jeans, had orange and black hair and a scar over his right eye, he was singing the song and playing his electric guitar, I felt like I've known him for so long. I wonder why?

"There's the new neighbor now, ladies and gentlemen, Ruby Blaze!" Everybody turned to see me and made a path towards the stage. "Come on up!" The older teen signaled me to come up, Fenniken ran up and I chased after her, when grabbed her I saw a hand from the boy with black and orange hair, he wanted me to take it, so I did and he pulled me up. "Everybody... Ruby Blaze!" He said towards the crowd and they all cheered. I saw Yummy beside our house looking up at us, he nodded and the other teen nodded back.

"Now everyone we will be packing up soon any requests!?" No one answered, the younger teen shrugged. "Well then that's all!" He said in a funny voice. Everyone laughed and started to walk back to their houses.

"Names Thomas by the way." Not hearing him on stage, his voice was low but he said it so smoothly like milk chocolate, it made me feel so good. "You know my name already." "Yep because I went to Sycamore's summer camp with you." I remember who he was, he was the boy with that Riolu!

Flashback

"Hahaha Riolu come back." Thomas was playing with his Pokèmon since birth.

Somewhere off in the woods

"H-Hello?! Anybody out here?!" I heard something rustling in the bush beside me. "Ahhh!" I tripped over a root and fell back, hitting my knee off a couple rocks. "Ri?" A Riolu jumped out and saw me. "What's wrong Riolu?" A boy with black hair and a bit of orange jumped out and saw me on the ground. "Oh boy that doesn't look good." He got down on one knee to inspect my knee, I hadn't noticed but my knee was bleeding, he touched it to move some dirt and I flinched.

"Don't worry I got something for this, hey pal reach into my backpack and pull out one of my handkerchiefs." The little Riolu nodded and went into his bag and pulled out a red and white handkerchief. "Thanks buddy." "Rio!" Riolu smiled and came over to help out. "Now I have to put this on ya, so grab Riolu's paw and if it hurts then squeeze." "O-Okay." I did as I was asked and he started to put it on me. For some reason it didn't hurt as bad. "There now lets get you up." He got up and reached his hand out so I could grab it. When he pulled me up I lost my balance again and this time he caught me.

"Names Thomas what's yours?" "Ruby." I smiled and he put my arm around hi neck and we walked back to camp.

End of flashback

"Your that boy that helped me!" "You finally noticed!" He smirked at me and I smiled back, there was a clang come from above us, we looked up and I saw a Riolu looking down at us. "Come on down its Ruby!" His eyes widened and jumped down landing on Thomas's shoulder. "Hi, it's been awhile." I was shocked to hear him talk, he sounded like Thomas when he was younger. "How did you-" "Oh you mean talk, well apparently me and Thomas have the exact same Aura so as we got older, I learned how to talk, that's what Thomas's pops said." Riolu said smiling.

"Who's this?" "Fenniken, I got her the day you left 11 yrs ago, she's the same age as me." Fenniken looked up at Thomas and saw Riolu. "Fen Fenniken!" "It looks like Fenniken wants to play, Riolu go ahead show her around town." Riolu just nodded and hoped off Thomas's shoulder and I set Fenniken down and they ran off. "So you have any other Pokèmon besides Riolu?" I asked and he just reached for his belt and pulled off a pokeball, reached his arm out and out came a Combusken, it started to show off"Also I noticed something, you and Fenniken have the same Aura." He just smirked at that. "Pretty soon she'll be talking." "Really!" Thomas nodded. "That's so cool!"

We saw a bright light shining in front of my new house. "Someone's evolving! Return Combusken!" We ran towards the house and saw a Lucario and another Pokèmon beside it. The Lucario was looking at itself with a surprised look. The other Pokèmon looked like a fox but on two feet instead of all four. I pulled out my Pokèdex and scanned the fox. "Braixen, the evolved form of Fenniken." "Wow a Braixen." I said looking in awe.

"Riolu?" Thomas asked. "I've evolved!" "Nice, I guess I can't call you Riolu any more." They fist bumped. "And your no longer Fenniken, right?" "That's right!" Braixen covered her mouth, and so did I. "D-Did I just talk?!" "Uh huh and you still are." We both still tried to figure out what happened, then I remembered what Thomas and now Lucario said. "Our Aura are the same, so that means we're the same age too." "I guess." We both looked at the two boys and they looked at us. "What?" They both said in sync, we giggled, they sounded the same and when I look at it me and Braixen sound the same too. "Wow we sound the same."

"Oh god I gotta go come on pal!" "Yeah." Thomas and Lucario ran to their house, me and Braixen walked to our new house. We saw Yummy with his Houndoom unpacking. "Here can you put these on the table." Houndoom nodded and Yummy placed plates on top of Houndoom's head and walked over towards the table. "We're back." Yummy turned around and when he saw Braixen his jaw dropped. "Uh ee eh oh who is this?" "Oh uh this is Fenniken now known as Braixen." "Hi." Yummy passed out. "Oops did I kill him?" "No he just passed out from hearing a Pokèmon talk." "Oh."
