Wherever You Are

Chapter 2

Noelle's POV:

"NOELLE GET YOUR BUTT DOWN HERE RIGHT NOW!" I hear my mum say. "ONE MINUTE I'M CHANGING CLOTHES!" I yell back. I'm happy I get to leave her alone for a few months. I finally get changed into my All Time Low tee-shirt and my jean shorts and cute sandals to match. I let my hair go natural, or straight, and simple makeup. "NOELLE!" My mother yells. "I'm right here." I say simply. "Ok Calum is waiting in the front room." Your mom says. "Ok. I can't wait to see him. I missed him so much!" I say making my mom happy. I didn't really miss him and I didn't really want to see him. Calum and I never really liked each other, so we always HAVE to act like we love each other around our mom. Even when we can't stand each other, we HAVE to act like we can. "Noelle." My mother says, snapping me out of my thoughts of seeing Calum again. "Sorry what?" I say. "Calum is waiting, he said he doesn't have enough time to wait." Your mom says. "Oh okay." I say as I walk into the room that my brother is in. "CALUM!" I say before I run and jump onto him. "NOELLE!" he says back. Wow I ACTUALLY missed my brother. "I missed you." I say as I hug him really tight. "I missed you too baby girl." Calum says hugging me back tighter too. One thing you have to understand is that my brother ALWAYS calls my baby girl, which I'm totally fine with. After we stop hugging it was awkward because no one spoke. "Ready to go?" Calum asks me, breaking the silence. "Ready as I'll ever be." I say. "Oh wait I need to get my suitcase from upstairs." I add. "It's ok. I'll get it. You just say your goodbyes to mom." Calum says. "Ok." I say to him as he goes upstairs to my room. "I love you mum." I say. "I love you too sweetie." My mom tells me before she starts crying. "Don't cry mum. I'll call everyday. And don't worry Calum will be there to protect me." I say trying to calm my mum down. "Ok BUT I HAVE to hear from you EVERY single day, ok sweetie?" My mother tells me. "Ok promise." I say before pulling her into a hug. "Shit." I hear Calum say. He's just tripped on the last step and stubbed his toe. I giggled at this causing Calum to give me a dirty look. "Sorry." I say. "It's fine. Are you all ready to go?" He asks. "Yup. As ready as I'll ever be." I say yet again. "Bye mum." Calum and I both say before we give her a family hug. "I love you." I say. "Me too." Calum adds quickly. "I love you both too. Stay safe and have fun. But NOT too much fun." My mum says giving us both the, "you better not have sex" look. "We won't dare do that mum. Right Calum?" I say smirking, knowing he did something with his now ex-girlfriend. "Right. I wouldn't dare have "it" before marriage." Calum says while smirking back. "Well mum we got to go." Calum adds. I walk over to her and hug her before I leave with Calum, who's already out the door. "I'll call everyday and I'll miss you. I love you." I whisper in her ear. "Right back at you." Mum says back. I let go and walk out the front door, waving goodbye. Here goes nothing!
