Chapter 20
Ivory POV
[Avery in the MM]

I honestly don't know how I let it get to this point. I can't leave my baby and I feel like I'm letting her down. If the necessary steps are for me to go to rehab I'm ready for it. I wish I would go ahead and fuck my life up.

"I want you to come home.", I wiped my tears.

"I'm coming back home. As soon as you get better!",He kissed my forehead.

I heard a knock at the door and Naomi came walking in with Chris. I wasn't really concerned on what their thoughts were. Only because I knew they weren't bad. We never judged each other.

"How are you feeling?",Naomi kissed my cheek.

"I'm fine!",I choked on my words,"I'm getting help. This time for sure!"

"Good cause I can't lose you!", She hugged me tightly.

"Mommy!",Avery jumped up hugging me.

"Hey mama's baby!",I giggled.

"I thought you were dead!",She started crying.

At that moment I completely broke down. I was no longer able to hold back any of the tears I had left. I cried uncontrollably and Avery wiped my tears. I don't know what happened. I don't know this person I've become. I'm just so sick to my stomach right now.

"I'm so sorry baby!",I hugged her tightly." I'm so so sorry!",

"Come on Avery let's go get something to eat and let mommy and daddy talk!",Naomi grabbed Avery.

"No I wanna stay with my mommy. What if I leave and when I come back she's gone?",She screamed trying to get from Naomi's grip.

Chris grabbed her calming her down. Blake he sat in the chair crying and that's understandable. I can't believe what I've done to everyone around me.

"I promise I'll be here when you get back baby. Go get some breakfast!",I kissed her forehead.

"Get better!",Chris hugged me.

"I will!",I watched them leave closing the door behind them.

I looked at Blake and he started sobbing. I got from the bed and walked over to him sitting on his lap. He wrapped his arms around my waist resting his head in the crook of my breast crying.

"This my fault. I should've slowed down and you wouldn't be so fucked up!",He looked up at me and his face was so red.

"It's not your fault Blake. I did this!",I wrapped my arms around his neck wiping his tears.

"If I would've never left we wouldn't be here.",He dropped his head back down still crying.

"Blake none of this is your fault. I fucked up. Just don't ever leave me again!",He looked up at me and I pecked his lips repeatedly.

"I promise I won't!",He started smiling.

I haven't felt this feeling since he left. The feeling of knowing someone loves you without constant reassurance. My heart just filled with warmth everytime I was around him. When he went away so did that feeling.

"I love you!",I laid my head on his shoulder playing with his earlobe.

"I love you!",He kissed my shoulder.

Then I felt it again. I felt love and it is the best feeling ever coming from the right person.

1 week later

"Mmm!",I smiled as Blake kissed me.

"Mommy I don't want you to go!",Avery started pouting.

"Baby it's only for a little while!",I assured her.

I was taking the necessary steps to go to rehab. I had to leave off today and I'm staying for 3 weeks if I do well. I know it's not going to be easy especially being away from my daughter but I can facetime her anytime.

"You'll get to have fun with daddy while I'm gone!",I giggled.

"Daddy just plays 2K all the time!",She pouted.

"That's better than doc mcstuffins!",he spat.

"How so?",She folded her arms.

This little girl has so much personality. Which she did not get from me. She's always so feisty and she don't care who it's towards.

"Well for one basketball is better than that show!",He stuck his tongue out.

"Daddy you can't even play. I beat you!",She huffed.

"I let you win!",He smirked.

"No you didn't you story teller!",She tried pushing him but he wouldn't budge.

I couldn't help but laugh they always did this. They act like they didn't go without each other. That's what I loved about their relationship. I'm glad I kept her knowing who her daddy was. Even though he wasn't around.

"I let you win. You really think you can beat me?",He picked her up tickling her.

"Daddy stop!",She laughed uncontrollably. " Mommy make him stop!"

"Blake stop. Give me my baby!",I giggled grabbing Avery.

"Na!",Avery stuck out her tongue.

The door bell rang and Blake went to answer it. My dad was coming to watch Avery while Blake went to drop me off. We got back in touch after I got out the hospital. I was glad me and him were back on good terms.

"Hey Blake!",He hugged my dad.

"Granddad. Where's penny?", I brought Avery to her feet.

"I forgot her in the car.!",He chuckled kissing Avery's forehead.

I hugged my dad for a quick second and it was refreshing. I was too stubborn to actually even talk to him. I listened to Blake and I don't regret it at all. I need family at this moment in my life.

"Avery say see you later to mommy cause she won't be here when we get back!"

"I'll see you later mommy!",I hugged and kissed her.

Avery ran over to Blake and he kissed her before they walked out the door.

"Dad you be safe with my baby!",I yelled out the door."She's the only child I have!"

"Not for long!",Blake wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Ivory I got this!",He retorted.

"I love you mommy!",Avery shouted.

"I love you more!",I watched them pull off.

I turned around in Blake's arms and he was smiling weirdly.

"Stop looking at me like that!",I scrunched my eyebrows.

"I love you!",He pecked my lips.

"I love you too!",I wrapped my arms around his neck resting my head on his chest.

"We got 3 hours!"

"Dang!",

I looked up at him examining his face. He looked at me the same. The way he says I love you is how he said it before he even knew about this.

"Why aren't you mad at me?",I retorted.

"We all make mistakes. I've made some too!",he shrugged.

"Make love to me!"
