A Creeper

I was actually having a good day. I had aced my math test, found out that Simon liked me and had gotten all of my homework done in study time. So, I was ecstatic.  Until I saw him. Again. As he rounded the corner behind me, I sidled my way through the busy Junior - High crowd to the Girl's Restroom. I know, I know, typical 3rd grade getaway, but he was really starting to creep me out . A lot. As I gazed at the flaky plaster wall, I contemplated the situation. I couldn't take the bus... I just couldn't . He would be there waiting, I can guarantee it. He did that yesterday... and the day before that... and the day before that day. The other option : walking. Not the most appealing, especially considering that I live 20 minutes away. That is, by car. It would take me an estimated 60 minutes to walk there through traffic by myself. Well, I had better book it if I'm going to be home at least before dance. I shouldered my backpack, gritted my teeth, and started elbowing my way through the crowd towards the school's front door.
