If only you could see what I see
If you were only trapped like me
Trapped for so many years
No escape
Holding in to everything that you've got left
To survive
But it's never enough
Because every time you gain freedom
You're trapped again
The world not giving a care
The world not feeling what you feel
The world not seeing what you see
Hurt.
Feeling like a caged bird
Fighting for its freedom.
