ANDREA'S P.O.V

Next day

I groaned as the boring physics class kept going as if no end. I glanced at Mel ...she returned me a smile with raised shoulders. Finally, a smile crept on our faces as the bell rang. Next its chemistry, Mrs. Ann, our chemistry professor took her place. She is really good and teaches us in a way such that we will find it easy. But the only thing is that sometimes she gets lost in her own world and thoughts and takes a little time to return back. It's kind of fun to see her lost in thoughts. Our dear professor wished for a combine class.

It's good because we can spend some time with our friends in that class but.... for me it's going to be bitter sweet as Skylar is a student in same class. We made our way through and settled down in boys' class. "Hey Andrea.... who is Skylar? Show me please." Meylin asked me with a funny smile.

"Seriously Meylin.... don't you know him? Anyway he is the one sitting beside Noah."

"WOW!! He is cute. He suits you" she patted my shoulders.

"Meylin I don't..."I was cut off by the announcement from the speakers. A dusty sound, obviously our principal's sound was echoed all around informing a sudden meeting for teachers and giving the volunteering duties to high school students and that's us.

I walked along the corridors with Melina. The weather was pretty. "An.... you really hugged?" she asked a bit puzzled. I tried to protest but I know very well that no use of it with my best friend. "hmm... Mel you know...it..i..was an accident..." I stumbled as It was hard to form a sentence. "so you did it huh!?" she asked with arms on her hips and eyebrows raised. I remained silent and then just gave a nod. "Ah! c'mon! Leave it. I just asked." she said in a normal tone.

We got space in lower grade. It's fun to be with tiny tots. As time passed Valarie and Meylin came to us. Valarie is a pretty girl, who slightly has a Chinese resemblance. Meylin the youngest of all is the naughtiest one. We call Valarie and Meylin as TOM AND JERRY of our class.

"Hey Andrea and Melina". Valarie waved.

"Yeah! What brings you both here, interrupting our secret talks?" Mel replied in a funny way.

"Hmh! what's that top secret? Got a new boyfriend? Got a new date? Or...."Meylin went on giving conclusions. We all laughed at a weird expression she made as she stopped talking.

"By the way, we came to inform you both that Mrs. Ann wanted you both and Georgia and Joan in the office for some help." Valerie informed us and substituted our class.

"An...I got to tell you something. It's really amazing! I got reconnected with my childhood friend Sam through Facebook." Mel said with deep involvement and a playful smile.

"Just friends or hiding something more from me?" I questioned.

"No...nothing much...i..." Mel replied.

"Hey we are here" Georgia and Joan walked towards our direction.

"Will catch up with Sam later, because I could feel something fishy with your childhood friend relation." I informed Mel in a whisper.

I was not in a mood to go office and help teachers all throughout and end up flimsy. First of all I'm not a good health today as I got cold and a slight sore throat. So I sat near the small fountain in the school garden. Nature has some healing power and takes me deep into thoughts.

"Why sitting alone?" a familiar voice snapped me out of my thoughts. As I turned I was shocked.

SKYLAR'S P.O.V

"It's pretty good weather today." I said to Davis as we walked along the corridor near the garden side. "yeah it is. I'm going back to class. You coming?...... oh! Wait ....isn't that Andrea over there? She is a pretty girl." Davis said which made my mind picture a Davis as a flirtatious crocodile trying to steal her from me. WHAT?! Why do I feel like she is mine? She is mysterious. It will be figured out one day.

"No I'm not coming. You may go to the class." I informed him avoiding his talks about Andrea. He walked to right as I proceeded towards the garden chair near the beautiful fountain, where Andrea, my mysterious destiny sat. She was lost in her thoughts. I stood there for a while watching her. "She is beautiful" I concluded myself.

"Why sitting alone..?" I know I interrupted her but couldn't wait to talk to her. Never ask me why because I'm searching for the answer.

She turned around. She looked shocked. She was trying to hide from me ever since we hugged. I mean accidentally hugged.

"Just kicking off time is all. Mel and others went to office to help teachers with some stuff. I didn't as I'm not well." She informed me with great awkwardness.

"Andrea...I'm sorry for what happened...it..." I began but she cut me off.

"No...I should apologize because it's my mistake." She managed to make it sound casual. She cleared her throat each time she spoke.

Andrea's P.O.V

It was hard with a sore throat. It was paining a bit more, so I had to clear my throat after couple of words.

"Here take it...It will help or else let's go to clinic room. The nurse may help." He said by offering me some pills, pain healer. He had care and concern in his eyes and an undeniable power on me. I don't know why.... He is mysterious. It will be figured out soon. I said to myself.

"No...thanks." I politely declined. He returned a comforting smile.

"Hey An.... Mel and others are waiting for you. Come over fast! It was Ruby. She was in relation with Peter. He is a handsome guy. It's been a year. A Love, which is deeper than ocean beds.

"Guess I'll see you later... take care." He waved at me. I couldn't find words to reply because I was lost in his words, which were full of care and concern. What is his role in my life? Fate will always find it's way...should wait and watch.
