ANDREA'S P.O.V:

NEXT DAY

I was walking through the corridor while my fingertip touched the window rails I passed by. They were cold from the cold and slightly misty morning. As I moved through, my mind wasn't at rest nor me myself. I was busy making conclusions about Skylar , about what happened yesterday, scolding myself for my short tempered nature.....

 "Hey Riya!" I was pulled back from my thoughts by Melina. "oo...sorry..what?" I didn't completely gave attention to her, which made me reply like an idiot. "Seriously Riya?... I just said a hii to you and where is your busy mind? I was calling you from behind like about thousand times. All were staring at me but you." She complained. "I'm really sorry Mel...I was just thinking...well... just leave it. So, what's up?"I replied bringing a smile to my face to show her I'm perfectly fine, even though I knew it won't work on my best friend.

"Ha-Ha! I believed!" she replied sarcastically. "Seriously? Do you expect me to believe that?" she scrutinized my face as if she is trying to find out the truth behind a crime by staring deep.

"It's nothing Mel." I knew she would not be happy when she will come to know what I did to Skylar. She doesn't seem to retreat. She frowned at me, which means it's the last call to spill the truth. So.... I began.

"Listen Mel... I'm sorry first of all. After your call....."

I explained her what all happened. Her reaction was normal.... Quite normal.... Yea! I was surprised.

We kept on walking slowly as snails whilst I waited for MEL's reply. "umm.... I know how it feels.. when you are accused of something which you haven't really done for sure. But... you didn't do it. So... it was better if you left it." She replied understandingly 

"But Mel...see...I know I haven't done that... but.... At that very moment..." I trailed off like there is no end. 

"It's ok Riya. I can't blame you completely. And...we cannot turn back time since we don't have a time machine." We chuckled at that whilst she continued "I guess... you should apologize to him. We should not be pictured as bad right?" I nod approvingly.

"Some serious talks.huh.?"Alayna came to us when we entered the classroom.

"Better we ask their opinion too."Melina suggests which I agreed in swift. I made it to my chair while Mel explained the dramatic situation to them. They were listening to her without missing a word, as if Mel was discussing the questions for our coming assessments.

"Yeah.... We can't blame you Riya... but you should apologize to him. Because... we should be good anyway." Lorraine speaks as I watched all nodding with approval.

"Ok... I think that's... better." I decided

As the History classes kept going, where everyone checks the time counting each seconds for the class to get over....

We were soon involved in the upcoming investiture ceremony.  Everyone split up in duties and I went along with Ruby.

"I guess head boy   will be there too.." it was Jade, who was stretching herself like a cat after the history class.

"Yeah... So Andrea can talk to Skylar" Ruby came up with the idea as all agreed.

"Awww... look at her.... She is lost in thoughts already." Val and Meylin chirped together.

"hmm.. we will miss the scene girls..." Georgia says mocking sadness. "YEAH! I know Georgia." Joan came and patted Georgia on her shoulders.

"Hey! Enough... it's not like what you people think." I tried to sound serious but failed.

"Look... you are smiling. 'SANDREA' is the cutest thing ever.!!!" Hanna shrieked.

"wish her luck girls! We gotta go." Ruby said as she pulled my hands whilst all girls wished me luck.

"Ruby... I don't know... how am I gonna begin?" I trailed off.

"Just go. Talk." She replied pointing to staircase where I saw peter and skylar.

 "Heyyy! Come here!" Peter waved at us. He was waiting for Ruby obviously. But why Skylar with him. Who cares... no.. don't care..

Ruby waved back at Peter. "You should speak now." Ruby nudged me. I shook my head showing a clear NO. she rolled her eyes and walked towards Peter.

 "We should be meeting Mrs. Roberta soon. So... fast! We have to move on now." I said in a casual tune. "you can't escape from talking to him as long as I'm walking with you." Ruby smiled at me mischievously.

 "Ok... let's get going then." Skylar responded, which made me look at him. He had a small smile and he looked fresh like morning dew. I wonder... how does he manage to look this fresh after history class.

We reached Mrs. Roberta's cabin. She explained us how the ceremony is going to take place and how the council members are to be positioned. We were put to work on this from very moment to start our practice session. Our first step was to mark the positions on ground. 

"Listen.." Mrs. Roberta began with her sweet sound "I'm gonna divide you 4 into 2 groups. Of course no 2 boys in one group, because I know you won't help them out." She said pointing us, girls. "That's why I asked Peter and Andrea to join."

"So.... Skylar go with Andrea and Peter go with Ruby." She finished.

 I froze as I couldn't swallow what she said completely yet. "ok ma'am." Ruby replied and walked out grabbing my arms along with her.

"You heard that?" I asked her impatiently. "of course I did." She said smiling. "but... NO... I don't wanna go with him."I complained. "you have to, as Mrs. Roberta asked us to." She grinned at me widely "C'mon you are going to apologize to him now so later on there won't be any problem." She said and pulled me with her. "Peter come here. Andrea want to speak to Skylar." She demanded.

"Phew... thank God. He was eating my ears. Whining like a baby 'Pet.. I wanna talk to her..' Now go speak to your girl." Peter demands crossing his arms. I'm gonna murder Peter in his sleep. How can he say that? 'your girl'. I scowled at him as he took protection behind Ruby. "Teach your boyfriend some manners Ruby." I say, pointing at Peter and turned to face Skylar.

We moved aside from them. Silence... I knew it. It is an awkward silence. I decided to break it. 

"I..." OH MY GOD! It got clashed as we both began at the same time. 

"Ok. You go first." I told him. 

He smiles and began "well... Andrea... I know what I did was wrong. I know you are angry ... I'm really sorry. I dint intend to hurt you. I lost my patience.... I'm really sorry." He stopped staring deep into my eyes.

 I broke the contact as I began "just two main questions. One.. why did you do it? Two... did u spread stories that I'm dating Noah?"

He seem shocked at my second question. "ok.. answer for first question... I was really fed up with the boys teasing me... and even Bella began cooking up dirty stories about us. So I figured a way out and that was it. But I regret it now. Second... I didn't do it. I know you and Noah are best friends. It was Ryan ... he wanted to check whether I was jealous." He finished.

 Jealous .... But.. why should he be jealous? I snapped off my thoughts and began picking up words. "well... I was not supposed to lash out at you like that before. I couldn't control because I'm really bad when I'm angry. I'm sorry for that and... ya it's ok... I know how it feels when the teasing goes off the limits." 

"So we are good?..." he trailed off. Waiting for my reply. "yeah... we are good." I smiled. He grinned as he heard my reply.

"okay... we will give you both sometime later now get going . you both down the ground. We both will arrange the rest." Peter said as ruby giggled looking at us.

Not seconds, not minutes, hours! I'm going to be with Skylar for hours. Hope I won't be stupid.
