His hands covered my eyes and I was led down the street, I was told I can't peek. I'm not one for surprises. Finally we stopped.
"Ready"? Zane asked.
"I've been ready for a while".
He moved his hands away and I stared at a beautiful two story Victorian house, with a porch.
My mouth dropped open. "I love it". I said and as I turned around Zane stood there with his hand out holding an even more beautiful diamond ring.
"Jenna, I don't have a speech. I just know that I don't want to lose you, ever again".
I threw my arms around him and hugged his as well as I could, with this now six-month pregnant belly in front of me. "Yes. A million times yes, I will marry you".
He kissed me deeply in my lips then screamed, "She said yes"!
Wait until Hanna hears the news. I'm so happy to be moving. Away from the craziness of the apartment and the city. I can't wait to welcome Madison Rowland to our family. Zane is going to adopt her once she is born, he is already in love with her even though she isn't here yet. He talks to her all the time, and will sometimes sing to her. I find it adorable.
"Well, let's get you packed. I want to move in now", Zane said.
We hurried to his car and drove back to my apartment. On our way up to the apartment we bumped into Simon. "Hello Jenna", he said.
"Hi Simon", I replied, feeling a little nervous.
"Sorry, I forgot your name", he said to Zane.
"It's Zane".
I saw Simon's face when he saw my finger. He looked surprised and kind of angry at the same time. "Oh, well congrats", he muttered and took off upstairs.
Zane stood there shrugging his shoulders. "What was that about"?
I shook my head. "I don't know, he kind of creeps me out a little. He just seems so familiar, but I don't know any Brit's".
We headed into the apartment and I called Hanna's name. She came bouncing out of the kitchen. I held my hand up and she screamed. "Oh, my god. It's gorgeous"! Hanna hugged us both together. Now I know how sardines feel. "Zane and I are going to start moving my stuff into the house Zane bought". "Don't you love it? Hanna asked. I gave them both a surprised look. "Huh"? "Zane wanted to make sure it was the perfect house, so he asked me to help pick it out. Now the ring, that was all him".
"Thank you. Good taste. The house is gorgeous, on the outside". I stated. "We shall see the inside later".
Zane and I headed into my bedroom and I grabbed my suitcase and started to pack my things. I could only pack what I could fit into my suitcase and my duffle bag. I know I need boxes for the other stuff, but that can wait till later. Hanna and I bought the furniture together, but she can keep it all. I have managed to save up quite a bit in the last four months, doing photography jobs here and there.
When I was done packing what I needed for now, I hugged Hanna then Zane and I headed out. While waiting for the elevator, Simon came down the stairs. I shivered a bit, he's kind of odd. "Going on vacation"? He asked.
"Moving", Zane said proudly.
"Oh".
Simon looked at me and grinned. There is something very familiar about him. I'm glad I'm moving though. He creeps me out the way he just pops up when I'm around. I finally got rid of Mark, Now Simon?
"See you around I guess", Simon said then headed down the stairs.
The drive to our new house was only a half hour outside of the city.
It was a quiet and beautiful area, somewhere nice to raise children. Zane grabbed two bags and headed for the house. It was quite alright not to have been carried over the threshold. Zane still has problems with his left leg, but manages pretty well. He unlocked the door and looked us inside the house. He really outdid himself, he had the house already done up ahead of time. Cream colored walls, walnut colored flooring, brand new furniture and light fixtures. The kitchen was something out of a magazine, white granite counter tops over grey cabinets and Stainless Steel appliances with a separate work area.  I feel like this is a dream and I don't want to wake up.
"Well"? He asked anxiously.
I turned to Zane and said, "I love it as much as I love you".
Zane kissed my forehead and headed back out to the car for more stuff. I walked up the stairs to see the rest of the house. At the top of the stairs was a door, I opened it and confirmed it was the laundry room. To the right led a hallway with two doors, one on the side which led to an attic and the other door straight ahead led to the master bedroom. I walked in and saw there was a master bathroom as well. I stopped at the window and likes out, I could see the front yard from the window I was at. A dark vehicle caught my eye across the street; only because I didn't see it there when we pulled up, the windows were tinted so I couldn't see who was driving. The car then sped off. I went to go check the other doors and found they were bedrooms. This is the perfect house to raise two children. I rubbed my belly from where Madison kicked me and walked downstairs to help Zane out.
