The group slowly gathered together and wandered over the the circle of chairs. Sitting down they started talking about the person they once knew. The girl they feel they lost to a man they see as a monster.
"She was so....so.."
"Innocent." Her mother spoke up. Yes she was as innocent as one could be, but that didn't stop Maxx. No he changed her and no one knows how.
The door opened and Kennedy walked in. Everyone was shocked. They thought she was gone, never to come back.
"No,no go ahead talk about me like you were in my life the whole time, like you even cared enough to be there, talk about the girl you lost, but first you need to know the real story.

"So I'm just your average normal teen. Or of course I thought I was, others had different ideas of normal. I guess my normal wasn't satisfactory, because they always had to let me know what I was doing wasn't like the normal they saw. Even just eating in the cafeteria, they seemed to feel I wasn't enough like them. So I guess that's when reality set in."
"I started seeing people for who they are, and not what they show. It's an easier way to get through life, I'll tell you that."
"Now I highly doubt that," my oh so happy mother spoke out. I looked at her then proceeded as if nothing was said.
"As I was saying, these people were completely unaware that I understood them and so instead of ever talking to me, they beat me up."
"And let's just say, when I met this 'monster', it all soon came to a stop."
