Chapter 3

A.N- hope you enjoy! Sorry it took so long!

I made my way out of bed and started to pack a bag for the day to come. I threw a swim suit, my wallet, and some food in a backpack and walked across the lawn with my converse in my hands, over to Tanners. Tanner was sitting in his room editing when I let myself in.
"Hey Tan! Where are we going today?" I said while setting my stuff down on his bed.
"I'm not gonna tell you. It's going to be a surprise! But, it will be a long drive so be prepared for that." He said while shutting off his computer and throwing all his gear in a bag. We both walked out of the house after grabbing some food for the ride, and headed toward the GTR. I have never ridden in the GTR, so I was excited and nervous. I don't like fast cars that much, so I was apprehensive to get in the passenger seat. I slipped into the passenger side of Tanners cars after throwing my bag in the back and leaned toward Tanner. I quietly said, "Tanner please don't drive too fast.".
Tanner replied with a smirk, "Am I taking your GTR virginity?".
Tanner then pulled out his phone and opened snapchat.
"HEY EVERYONE IM TAKING HER GTR VIRGINITY!".
He then pointed the camera towards me blushing and trying to hide my face in my hands.  He kept grabbing my hands and holding them down so everyone could see my face. I didn't really like being on Tanners social media. I'm a low key kind of girl and don't want crazy fans thinking up conspiracies that we're dating. Because we aren't.
About thirty minutes into the drive and we were on a highway. Not a single car in sight was Tanners dream, and that happened to be what the road looked like. I suddenly felt us grow more and more faster on the empty road. We reached over 100 mph and I let out a small scream. I grabbed tanners hand that was resting on his own thigh. Once we slowed down and realized where my hand was placed and just blushed and slowly move it away. To clear the awkward silence Tanner thought up the idea of having a Q&A on snap chat. I was given the job to answer snaps and tell Tanner what they said. He handed me his phone and I picked the top snap. It read, OMG WHO IS THAT GIRL ON YOUR STORY? SHES BEAUTIFUL. First of all I couldn't believe his fans were so nice, second of all, when I read it out to Tanner he wasn't surprised. When I ran into his arms the other day he got it all on snap chat and all of his fans went crazy.
"Yea they all think you're beautiful and they also think we're dating." Tanner explained while still gripping the wheel.
"Wow that's really flattering!" I said in pure shock because I'm just ordinary. No one ever really thinks that I'm anything but normal, basic, average. So this was a sigh of relief.
While I was in my dream land of people thinking I'm beautiful, I was pulled back into reality by Tanners hand on my bare thigh. He was asking me if he had my permission to put me in the vlogs. I was kinda apprehensive at first but I didn't really care that much. So Tanner pulled out his camera and asked me to hold it while he drove. I continued to open snaps, read then to Tanner, and then record both of our answers. I grabbed a granola bar and ate it while still answering questions. Out of no where while I was recording, Tanner reached over and wiped a crumb off my lip with his thumb. "You had something" Tanner said.
We had gotten tired of answering snap chats so he set the camera on the dashboard, facing us, and turned on some songs for us to jam out to. We were jamming out to a power ballad while stuck in traffic and both faced each other during an intense portion of the song. It happened like it was slow motion, we both looked toward the center and moved close and without even realizing, our faces ended up inches away from each other. For a second I thought we were going to kiss. Neither one of us moved away when this happened. Instead we just studied each other's faces. He looked at my lips and then back into my eyes and whispered, "your freckles, they haven't faded".
I didn't say anything. Him and I slowly started to lean into each other. Our lips were centimeters, away and before our lips touched we were both startled by someone laying on their horn because traffic had started to move again.
