When I woke up that morning, I didn't think that day was gonna be any different from any other.

Well, I was wrong.

That day was a clusterfuck.

I pulled my groggy, tired body out of bed and began to get dressed. As I walked downstairs to begin looking for my shoes, I stubbed my toe on the bookshelf in living room.

"Shit!" I shouted, a little too loud. I hoped I didn't wake anybody. Limping slightly, I began to shove my sneakers on my feet, and putting some toast in the toaster

----

My phone vibrated in my pocket as I sat on the bus on the way to school. I pulled my phone out of my pocket. I sighed.

New message from Tyler: DUDE! HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT CORIE???

I sighed, opened my phone and typed out a response.

Ryan: Yes, I've heard of Corie.

Tyler: nonono, have you heard about what happened to corie??

Ryan: No

Tyler: dude! Theres way to much to tell! We HAVE to talk when you get to school

Ryan: Why did you text me if there's too much to tell?

Tyler: I just thought we could have a civilized discussion about thid INSANITY

Ryan: *this

Tyler: whatever

I frowned and turned off my phone, shoving it in my pocket. What happened? Rumors? My mind was all jumbled as I looked out the window as we passed the Papa Johns on our way to school.

Man, I could go for some pizza right now.

When the bus pulled into the school and the doors opened, I stood up quickly and shoved my way out. I raninto the halls. Tyler was standing in front of the library, backpack still on. I sprinted up to him.

"Tyler." I breathed.

"Ryan." He replied, amused.

"What happened?" I asked, catching my breath. It really was too early to be running.

"Duuude." He said, "It's crazy."

"Stop stalling and tell me." I snapped. I sighed. "Sorry I snapped."

"Nah, It's fine." He turned, putting his arm around my shoulders, similarly to how a con-artist would in the movies, and began walking.

"Corie and Cassy broke up." He said.

"Woah, what? Why?" I asked, feigning shock. Corie friend had said Corie and Cassy had been fighting, but why?

"I don't know, but he changed his status on literally every social media ever to "single"." He pulled his arm off my shoulders, since any longer would be 'socially unacceptable'.

"Is that it?" I asked.

"Hell no!"

"Then tell me!"

Tyler sighed. He seemed down. He quickly covered it up, and put a neutral expression on his face.

"He put up a bunch of Snapchats of him kissing a dude." He said simply.

"Woah woah woah, what?" Corie? Corie, the poster child of straightness, known for fucking girls in the 8th grade. The Corie that everyone was shocked actually got in a faithful relationship with Cassy? That Corie?
