It was dark. I was sweating. All I could feel was the bed under me and his body against me. I moaned. All I heard was a sound coming from deep within his throat, and then he moaned my name.

Wait.

Was that Corie's voice?

Wait no, no no no wait.

"Fuck!" I yelled as I sat up in my bed. I put my face in my hands, I was sweating profusely. I do not need this right now! I have my history test today- I have to focus. I picked up my phone and looked at the time. 3 AM. I groaned and fell back against the bed. I decided I would deal with this and then go back to bed. I need sleep.

----

I stared at my history test. I had purposely kept far away from Corie in the halls. He had tried to strike up a conversation, but I moved away quickly. It was too awkward. I sighed and direction every scrap of attention to my history test, I couldn't fail this.

----

I kept my head down as I waited in line to get my lunch. Pulling out my phone, I replied to a few texts and scrolled through my subscriptions. I got my lunch and speed walked to my lunch table.

"Hey guys." I said, smiling as I sat down.

A few "hey ryan"s chorused as I sat down and began eating my lunch.

"Well, you're still playing Reinhardt wrong." Tyler said.

"It's efficient as hell to play him like that!"

"I still think it's stupid to sneak attack as Reinhardt."

The words fell on deaf ears as I stared across the room. There he was, perfection itself sitting with his friends, talking, laughing, teasing one another. He turned his head slightly to the side, he made eye-contact with me. He waved. I cringed. I quickly turned my head to make it look like I was looking out the window. Tyler looked at me suspiciously, leaning in and looking at where I was looking. His eyes lit up.

"OOOO! Guess who's got a little crush!" He said, poking at my side.

"Not me." I lied, glaring at the window.

"Ooooo, whooo iiiis iit?" Jacob asked, snickering.

Tyler grabbed his shoulder and pointed to Corie. My eyes went wide. He knew.

"Definitely not!" I denied.

"Oh yeah?" Tyler asked.

"Then what's with the blush on wittle Wyan's face?" Jacob finished, making his voice sound like that of a child towards the end of the sentence.

"It's just there because you're accusing me of liking someone I don't!" I defended.

"Awww, he's so embarrased!" Tyler cooed.

"Guys, give him a break." Jessie interjected.

"Aw come on, we're just playing!" Jacob whined.

I knew Jacob and Tyler meant well, they were just teasing me. I just didn't need other people to know abou-

"If he likes the guy, let him be embarrassed in peace!" Jessie finished. All three of them erupted into laughter. I glared at them.

"I don't like them!" I said, throwing my hands in the air.

"Oh, come on Ryan, you've been staring at them all lunch." Jessie said.

"I have not!" I rebutted.

"Ok, what have we been talking about this whole time?" Jessie said, holding back a laugh.

"...Overwatch?"

"That was only when you sat down. We've been talking about World of Warcraft." Tyler said, snickering.

"You've dug your own grave." Jacob said, laughing.

"Ok fine! Maybe I have a crush! Why does it matter to you?!" I said, exasperated.

"No reason." Jacob said.

"Just because it's our job." Tyler said, winking and putting an arm around me. I snorted and pushed his arm off my shoulders. They resumed their conversation about which dungeon we should raid next, except I was listening this time.

Man, I love my friends.
