As the helicopter descended, the man scrutinized the run-down building that the helicopter that he was in was headed to. It was humongous, with overgrown plants surrounding it. Some of the dirty windows were smashed in. From them he could hear the yelling, cries, chatter and laughter of the hundred children living in that old hospital they used as an orphanage. It stood at the edge of the large cliff from where they had come from. They had come from the City of Lights, more specifically. The man held a bundle of blankets wrapped around what was supposed to be a new-born baby. He gazed out the window. He was carrying out the last request of his uncle before he died. His uncle, a genius of a man, had orchestrated the whole thing. He created the key to saving them all. The children had to find the lock.

"We've landed!" The woman beside him yelled. "I've dropped the supplies. As soon as I come back with the boy, jump out and give them the baby. You have to come back under 50 seconds, so hurry." Before the man had time to react, she jumped out of the helicopter.

"Ow! Don't pull that hard! Ow- What are you-" The boy's voice cut off as the woman poured the serum that would knock him out and wipe his memory into his mouth as he talked. She wiped her blond hair off her face and glanced at the bundle the man was holding.

"Your turn, Alex," she told him. Her dark eyes seemed to pierce Alex as he panicked, wondering whether she knew what he was hiding. He looked away and jumped off the edge. The woman watched the man run and give the bundle to the nearest child.

"Save yourselves. Save us. It's up to you." She heard him say before he came running back. She frowned. She knew he was doing something illegal and she knew that she should report it, but as she gazed at the children near the building, and maternal instinct surged up and stopped her from calling the authorities. As soon as the man climbed on board, the helicopter flew up and away.
