School Days (a levihan fanfic)

Part 2

Hanji walks into school with Levi, still shaken up from yesterday. Levi glances at her, worry in his eyes. "Will you be okay?" He asks, and she nods simply.
Levi then walks away, to his class, and Hanji walks to hers. She sits right behind Petra, and on either side of Petra, was Mikasa and Annie. Together, they made up the most popular girls in school.
Hanji shrinks a bit, staring at her journal. In school, she was known as 'the freak'. Levi, Eren, and Jean were the most popular guys in school. So, she was like the outcast.
Hanji zones out during the lesson, not able to concentrate. Right as the bell rings, she jumps up, racing out of there. She sighs heavily, this would be a long day.


(after school)
Levi catches up to Hanji, gripping her shoulder, turning her around. "Why didn't you wait for me?" He asks, his face showing no emotion.
"O-oh..! I thought you had to stay after again." She answers, smiling a little.
"Even if I did have to stay after, I would make you stay with me. We don't want what happened yesterday to happen again, do we?" He states, and she nods. "I guess you're right."
The two of them then make their way into the forest, still taking the short cut. Hanji stays silent, itching to ask Levi something.
"Go ahead, speak. I know you want to say something. " Levi says, not turning around. Hanji sighs, staring at the ground.
"Why...do you...stick with me? I know we're childhood friends,...but I'm just some freak, and you're popular! So why?" She whispers, still looking at the ground.
Levi freezes, and slowly turns around. He then quickly grabs her, pinning her to a tree. He sighs, not looking at her.
"Because, idiot. You're my friend. You've always been there for me. You see the good in me. You're nice to me...you..make me smile, and laugh. And you're different. Being different is who you are...it makes you..special. And you're a freak? Well, then you're му freak." Levi explains, and looks up at her.
Hanji's eyes grow wide, and tears threaten to spill out of her eyes. No one..had ever..said that to her...
"I love you, you idiot." Levi mutters. Hanji cracks a small smile, her face heating up. "I...l-love..y..yo.." She starts, stuttering, but before she could finish, Levi places his lips on hers.
