Dear Diary,
It's been a while since I've written, but a male werewolf stopped me last night after after a woman attacked me. He didn't mean any harm. He was trying to figure out who was killing people in Beacon Hill. I believe the woman and whoever she ran to are behind it, but I don't know why. The howl was an alpha with the power behind it, and it sounded so familiar. I don't understand what would bring another alpha to follow another alpha. It's not normal. But who said being a supernatural creature was normal? NO ONE EVER. I just hope this turns out to be harmless and won't bring more death in my life because I've lost enough.
                     Love,
                       Luna

I close my journal and hide it in my backpack, and dad opens the door asking, "Are you going to eat some breakfast, Luna?" "Nai, bampá (Yes, dad)," I say clasping my bag following him upstairs and get the reward of aromas from coffee and french toast. I sit next to Lucas who instantly scoots half of a foot away from me, and mom hands me my mug as I look at him confused. I say, "Thank you, mum." "You're very welcome, darling," mom smiles at my politeness this morning, and I sip my coffee humming softly in content. I start eating my french toast with strawberries, and Lukas keeps glancing at me. "Are you nervous or excited for school, sis? I've only seen you eat that much when your nervous," Luke asks taking my empty cup and his plate to the sink. I chuckle, "You pay attention to my eating habits?" "I've lived with you for nine years. I pick up on things," he says grabbing my plate from the counter where I'm sitting. I sigh, "Okay Mr. Observant, I'm both excited and nervous about school, and speaking of which we really should get going before we're late."

The drive to school is shorter than expected, but I park further away from the doors not knowing what to expect about the other students. I take a deep breath, and Selene and Melanie take my hands as Lukas leads the way listening for anything that sounded like the office. Taking a chance, he opens a door revealing four women standing behind a counter that comes to my waist. I ask, "Excuse me. Is this the office?" "Why yes, it is, sweetie," the blonde haired woman closest to the door says sweetly. The one with shoulder length red hair with blonde mixed through it smiles, "You must be the Lykos siblings. I'm Ms. Martin." "It's lovely to meet you, Ms. Martin. I'm Luna," I gesture to each of my siblings, "This is Melanie, Selene, and Lukas." "I go by Luke though," Luke speaks up, "and we would like to receive our schedules if that is possible." "Of course, Luke. I'll grab that right now for you," the Brunette with hazel eyes says too flirty for a faculty member speaking with a student. I raise an eyebrow clearing my throat, and she quickly averts her eyes looking through the pages searching. Ms. Martin smiles at me, and I return it, "You seem like a counselor." "I am, Luna, and I'm also a substitute teacher." "I can't seem to find your schedule, Luna," the brunette says with a fleeting smirk on her face as she replaces it with an expression of fake condolence. I look at her with a blank expression, "I do believe that you skipped over mine after I blatantly gave you a look because of your careless flirting with my brother, so I'd get my schedule." "You little-" she says, but a man with salt and pepper hair walks in behind her. He asks, "Would you like to finish that insult, Mrs. Locke?" "No, sir," she says quickly grabbing my schedule and placing it on the counter.

The principal gestures for Mrs. Locke to follow him, and my sisters, brother, and I exit the office to search for our first periods. Splitting up, I find my Advanced Chemistry class and am met with several people staring at me including the teacher. I speak up, "Am I in the right class? I'm supposed to be in Advanced Chem." "Yes, and you must be Luna," the teacher who looks very confused, "Would you like to say anything about yourself?" "I was born in Gloucester, and I enjoy coffee more than I should," I say as confusion forms onto my facial features. He smiles, "I'm Mr. Lewis, and you can sit wherever you like." I sit in the back corner behind a red head and brunette, and open the textbook to the page written on the board. I continue working on the work until the bell rings, and the red head stands in front of my lab table causing me to look at her. "Hi, I'm Lydia," Lydia smiles brightly, and I smile politely. I introduce myself again, "I'm Luna. It's a pleasure to meet you." "So I heard you saw Jackson yesterday," she says as I put my things in my bag. I nod putting my bag on my back, "His family came to greet my family on our arrival of Beacon Hill. I can obviously tell that he's your boyfriend or ex by the infliction of your tone." "He is my ex, but I'm over it," she says a little more confident. I smile sympathetically and sigh, "He was your first love, and I can assure you that he's not my type, Lydia." "Well, I'm sorry that I came rushing at with gossip," she links her arm with mine. I grab my schedule, "It's alright. It looks like I have History with Mr. Yukimura." "He's a new teacher this year," she says matter-of-factly, "and I have that class too."
