"Luna, come to me," a woman's voice surrounds me as a fog shrouds at my knees, "Answer for your sins." "I've answered for my sins time and time again," I say spinning around trying to locate where the voice is actually coming. The woman's laugh echoes in my ears making the fog fill my head, and I growl in confusion grabbing my head, "Get out of my HEAD!" "Come to me," she whispers sweetly. I narrow my eyes into the fog, "Go to hell!" "I'll see you there, Luna, but you will come to me to meet your end whether you know it or not." "It'll be your your end not mine," I straighten my back pushing out every bit of the fog from my head roaring.

My body is being shaken violently by Scott and Stiles, and I roar opening my eyes to quickly realize I'm not in danger. I look around with leaves covering parts of my body, but I have no memory of coming here. "Why am I half-naked in the woods," I ask groggily looking at the both of them. Stiles lifts a finger opening his mouth, but Scott answers for him, "We don't know, but you were mumbling something about sins." I hear a howl in the distance that I couldn't mistake for anything else in the world. My chest tightens as I say, "I need to find where that howls coming from." I sprint through the trees ignoring the branches and rocks cutting at my flesh, and an opening clears before me as the cliff plummets down an unknown distance. A man with a long white cane stands facing towards the horizon, and I stand there in silence staring at him.

The man turns around slowly showing the very face I devoutly believed I would never see again, but my father smiles slightly asking, "How is my princess?" "That's all you have to say to me after eleven years, Deucalion," I growl making him raise an eyebrow in the way I do when I challenge someone. He takes a step toward me pointing his cane at me, "I am your father." "That's funny because I vividly remember how you told me I was weak, I would ruin your pack, I wasn't enough," I growl taking a step forward anger laced with my words, "You abandoned me!" "Quick to ignite, just like your mother," he chuckles softly crossing his arms, but I'm far from thinking this is funny. I speak through my teeth, "I never knew my mum because of you, so I wouldn't know." "You could learn more about her if you ask me what you want to know," he taunts me. I turn my back on him saying, "That's not good enough after eleven years of abandonment, Deucalion." "Don't you turn your back on me, Luna Athena Karson," he growls at me, and I laugh lowly. I state flatly, "I'm a Lykos because I wasn't good enough to be a Karson." I walk away knowing he won't give up that easy. "I told you I'd come back for you when you were ready, Luna," he says walking into my path, "I'm still your father no matter how much you hate the fact." "David Lykos is my father. He raised me and put me through school. You left me behind to pursue a perfect pack, so understand my anger toward you," I growl with so much ferocity that Deucalion is taken aback, and I walk past him walking home the back way to avoid attention.

"Luna, why did you run to the howl," Luke asks confused and frustrated as soon as I walk into the door. I sigh, "It was my biological father. I wanted to know what he wants because he had to been following me here." "Your birth dad is in Beacon Hills," he growls baring his teeth. I run my fingers through my hair asking, "Will you calm down, Lukas?" "He's just going drag you through hell again, Luna," he throws his hands up, and mom and dad come into the kitchen. Dad asks, "What's going on?" "Deucalion is here in Beacon Hill," I answer looking at the ground, "He called me princess and said he was going to tell me about my birth mother and that he finally thinks I'm ready." "What did you tell him," mom asks looking at me understanding how serious this is. I take a deep breath, "I'm a Lykos because I wasn't good enough to be a Karson, and that you were my mum and dad because you raised me, not him." "Are you alright," Melanie says coming out of her room. I shrug and answer honestly, "I have no idea if I'm alright." I hear my alarm ring downstairs and collect my thoughts starting my normal routine to distract myself.

"Are you going to act like this morning didn't happen," Lukas asks, and I nod sighing. I say, "It's the easiest thing right now, and my birth dad is the least of my worries." "The whole sleepwalking in the woods is," Selene says knowingly, "and her deep attachment to Michael Baccari." "But the first one is my priority if someone's already been sacrificed in those woods," I bite my lip parking next to Stiles. I look at Scott, and he gets that we need to talk. I lead him to the emptiest part of the courtyard asking, "What do you know about the dead bodies in the woods?" "It looks like it's human sacrifice," Scott says with a serious expression on his face, and I take deep calming breaths. I say, "Could they be virgin sacrifices?" "Possibly, why," he asks confused. I look into his eyes, "I think they want me next. I went for a stroll in my sleep into the middle of the woods." "Luna," Ethan calls for me from across the courtyard, and I get up meeting the twins by the entrance and smile. I look at them, "Hey guys, how ar-" A needle enters my neck and Aiden catches me in his arms. My vision clouds until everything is black being carried off to god knows where.
