Chapter 2

Riku took notice of what he was doing and let go of my hand and I softly rubbed my shoulder, which was the spot where he grabbed me, I knew it wouldn't bruise, Riku was too caring to do something like that. It still hurt though. 

   "A-Ah, I'm so sorry (Y/n)! I didn't mean to hurt you! Please don't hate me!" He cried. I gave a small sigh and gave a small, closed smile. "I can't hate you Riku, I know it was on accident." I looked at my phone and decided to I should start heading to class soon.

Grabbing a hold onto the door, I waved to Riku. "Sorry, I have to head to class, I don't to get into too much trouble on my first day."Just as I was about to close the door I whispered, "And please don't do anything too drastic, I don't want you to get in trouble because of me." I closed the door and made my way to my english class. 

Riku's p.o.v

I watched as (Y/n) walked through the hall on the way back to her class. 

   "I can't hate you Riku," 

I wanted to melt.

She's so kind. I really don't deserve her. I know it's rude to say she's better than everyone else, but she really is.

I stepped out the janitor's closet and walked in the opposite direction that (Y/n) walked in. I wasn't going back to my P.E class, I was going straight to the counselor. I'm going to change my classes so that I can be closer to (Y/n). 

Also doing all that exercise that early in the morning sucks. I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket and I checked my notification.

(Y/n): Are you still in the hallway? Or are in class right now?

Riku: No, I'm still walking in the hall why did something happen?! Is that guy doing something to you?!

(Y/n): I don't really know, I guess I'm just trying to get my mind of thinking about the fact that this stalker is staring at me.

Riku: Well I'm getting my classes changed so do you mind if I join? ^^

(Y/n): Of course not! It'll be great if you can in this class with me! At least I won't be in this class alone haha.😅 

I couldn't help but smile. She enjoys my company. I started to run towards the office and asked someone who was behind the desk where was the counselor's office and they pointed at a door.

I was making my way to the cafeteria. The counselor said that I can pick up my new schedule at the end of day. I was hoping that I'll be able to talk to (Y/n). I took my first few steps in the cafeteria, a grin stood upon my face just thinking about s certain someone. But the moment I saw someone wearing a black hoodie making (Y/n) laugh made my stomach churn. I silently walked behind the figure and trying act as calmly as I can, I tapped them on the shoulder. They pulled down their hoodie and I sighed in relief. It was Akihiro. 

   "Hey Riku! We were just about to go look for you! It's been a while hasn't it? Don't just stand there, give me a hug!" He shouted in a cheery voice and stood up out of his seat. Akihiro was (Y/n)'s cousin, he was barely a year younger than us. Making him a freshmen. No doubt that we we're friends though, I've known him almost as long as I known (Y/n). I pulled the brown haired boy into a hug. "Yeah, it's been a while." I said with a low voice. 

Something that I've noticed about Akihiro and his cousin was that they were both so positive. The only difference was that (Y/n) was a bit more shy when it came to meeting new people while Akihiro would have no trouble with socializing with other people. I took a seat across from (Y/n) and silently watched as Akihiro begin to rabble about how this school was so big and how all the upperclassmen were all nice. I only focused when he said something along the lines. 'I think I like someone already' 

I saw (Y/n) grin and placed her elbow on the table and let her hand rest on the bottom of her chin. "So, little Akihiro has a crush huh?" she said teasingly. I gave an unnoticeable chuckle as the boy begin to blush. "Don't expect to hear that you have a crush and don't ask who it is." I smirked. 

  "W-Well, I d-don't exactly k-know her very well b-b-but she was really k-kind and she was r-really pretty and she s-said she'll b-be w-willing to help me a-any time.." He stuttered so much that I had trouble understanding him. (Y/n) jumped out of her seat. "Who is she?! I want to meet her!" She shouted in excitement. 

At the moment Akihiro's eyes a widen and instantly slammed his face onto the table. I looked over at (Y/n), who was giving me the 'what the actual hell just happened?' look. 

Before I was able to ask why he just slammed his face onto a table he weakly brought his face back up and pointed behind me. I turned around to see the student council's secretary.
