*I recommend to listen to the song through the story*
I'm finally getting to lunch. There's nothing really good to eat so I go into the least disgusting sounding line. It's something called mini dogs. Like, what. Corgis? That was dumb. I'm assuming like mini hot dogs. I don't know. All day I was thinking if this time. Some random kids put on music and go to sit back down and eat. The lunch room is large. Very large actually. Almost the whole cafeteria stands up and starts dancing to Poor some sugar on me. By: Def Leppard
"What the hell?", I whisper to myself. Are they, are they doing a flash mob? Fuckin hell. This is amazing, my first day and there's a flash mob. Skyler starts to get closer to me while dancing. He gets handed a bouquet of flowers. Are they for me? Ummmm. . . Okay. As Skyler gets to where I am in the cafeteria, the music stops. He hands me the flowers and everybody goes silent.
"Will you go to Homecoming with me?" he said loud enough for the whole cafeteria to hear.
I looked around for a little bit, looked at Skyler and said, "Sure, why not?"
The whole cafeteria burst into cheers of happiness at my answer. Skyler looked so happy. His smile was so wide. I looked at him and started to laugh. "What? Is there something wrong with my question?" he asked me.
"No, it's just the song. It's so inappropriate for this," I replied. "Oh, that. Right. That's um. Yea. That's my favorite song," he says back to me.
"Makes sense."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"Nothing," I say winking at Skyler.
