Meeting the Parents

Our 'group', if that's what you call it, gets in my car and starts to head over to my house first. We walk into the door and my parents aren't home. Yes! I won't get yelled at. I tell Ally and Sky to stay down in the kitchen and eat whatever they want as I run upstairs to my room and pack my stuff. I grab a sharpie and run back down stairs. Skyler has three sandwiches and a soda when I come back down. Alice only has a few strawberries and a water. He did not hold back on what I said did he? I leave a note on the kitchen table that says: Mom, going over to friends house for the night. I'll see you tomorrow. If there's anything wrong, call me. Love you!

            ♡, Eliza

That's good enough. Right? Well, whatever. It's good enough for me. We head back out to my car again. I start the car and notice that Sky is still in the house. I run back inside and grab his arm. "Hey! My sandwiches!" he yells at me.
"Grab 'em we gotta go."
He grabs all of his sandwiches and his soda and heads into the car with me. Ally whispers in my ear once I get into the car again. I flush bright pink to what she says and she smirks. Skyler doesn't notice that she was smirking or that I was pink. He was more focused on his sandwiches.

I pull out of the driveway and ask for directions to their house. I start to drive to their house. The car gets really quiet and awkward. I put a CD in and go to track three. This song starts playing:

What I can be romantic too! Don't judge me, it's my favorite song. Tiffany Alvord is a good artist. Alice starts to smile at me with a few happy tears in her eyes. I'm glad she's mine. She's gonna make my life a better place.

We reach their house in a few minutes. Okay, maybe 45 minutes. We had to use the bathroom. More like Skyler had to pee really bad to the point where he was about to go out the window. So, we had to stop. I park on the side of the road, to avoid being rude and parking in their driveway. We walk up to the door and I stop in the porch as they walk in.
"May I come in?" I asked in the form of politeness.
"Come on silly! You don't have to wait outside!" Skyler tells me.
I walk inside and I feel extra eyes on me. Her parents. Crap, I didn't think of this. Why didn't I think of this? Keep calm. Don't freak out. You'll be okay, trust me. "Mom, dad. This is Eliza. She's my girlfriend," Skyler says.
Wait, Skyler? They haven't came out yet either. Sweet. More awkwardness.
"Hello Eliza. Nice to meet you!", says their mom.
"Yes, very nice to meet you," says their dad. They both hold out their hands out for me to shake them. Ladies first. I shook their mom's hand and then their dad's. "It's very nice to meet you too Mr and Mrs, um, I don't exactly know your last name. Sorry if that sounds rude."
"Our last name is Nightwolf," they all say at the same time. Everyone laughs except me. It's kinda weird. A cool girl with a cool name. Also beautiful. Wow, I'm taking the last name. My brother can carry ours on. Yes, I am assuming that we will get married. Don't judge me, I'm young and in love. I feel like you're judging me. Stahp!

Okay, so I gotta describe Alice and I. We are amazing. We can work together very well. And we can do almost anything together. I love her. I haven't said it to her yet, but I do. Back to reality.

"Can she stay over for tonight because her parents are gone and she doesn't want to be there all alone without her brother there," Skyler said.
"Yes, but she has to sleep in Alice's room. I will never, and I repeat NEVER, let a girl sleep in your room!" said Mrs. Nightwolf. The last thing we said to their mom was okay and we ran downstairs.

Once we got downstairs I flopped on the couch. Skyler out in some show on Netflix and Alice went to change.

"So, why'd you say yes to Alice," he asked me, "it's only your first day at school."
"Well, I have a fear of being alone. I hate being with me. I can't be single. I have the fear where if I die. Whenever I die, I would be alone. That's nobody's choice. Everyone doesn't want to die alone. I have to spend my time on someone else so I don't focus on the imperfections of me so much," I reply to him.
"That's deep man. That's like, heart breaking," Skyler replies. "You don't have to be alone. I'll always be here. And I'm going to marry you one day," Alice says.
I didn't notice she was done changing. Wow, she walks really quietly. I've never noticed that before. I secretly smile and scoot over on the couch for Alice to sit down. She puts her arm around me and I snuggle into her.
|9:26 p.m.|

We watched Netflix for a very long time. From around five to now nine. Mrs. Nightwolf yellso, o, from upstairs for us to go to bed. And she also yells for me to put my stuff in Alice's room. Hell yea I will, my pleasure. I take my bag and place it in her room. I put something a little 'extra' in there. A special treat for her I would say *wink, wink*.

We head to the places we're sleeping and once I walk into Alice's room the lights go off and Christams lights go on. Blue and white, sexy yet elegant. What's going on? I'm honestly really confused. Wait, pause. Is this happening? Are we gonna, you know, steam up the sauna? That was a bad analogy. Oh my. That was such a bad analogy! Agh, I'm horrible aren't I? Well, let's see if this is what I'm expecting. . .

Hey! Did you think that they were gonna do the sexy? Not yet ;) Sorry for not posting as often. I've been working on this for a while trying to word it right. I've also had something going on and depression hitting and all. Anyways, as long as you're enjoying this and being happy, I am. I'll see you in the next chapter. Keep looking for that rainbow in the oil puddles! Bye!!
