A pit of darkness. A void of never ending emptiness. A vast expanse of sinister things to come.
There were many ways to describe the ocean of nothingness that faced me. Then again, what was nothingness?
Everyone deciphered this word in many different ways. For some, it meant a loss of hope. For others, it was a way of saying that there was something but they didn’t want you to know about it. For most though, the word nothing, meant just that. Absolutely nothing.
As I ponder over this, the more important questions make themselves known. What is this place? What day is it? What happened to me? And the most important of all,
Who am I?
