I blinked lazily, while sighing. I had had the best sleep I've ever had in ages. I don't remember my bed being this comfortable, nor do I remember sleeping in what seems like sheep wool.....
Sheep's wool? The thought, made me open and rub my eyes crazily. I don't have a comfy bed, and I do not own these god like pajamas!
Last night's actions sunk in nice and slow. Meaning I could only be in one place. Mr. Spark's house.
If I'm in his house, in his clothes, in his bed. Where the heck is he?
My head instantly snapped to the right side of the king size bed, that was in fact empty, to my relief. Yet a twinge of want sat heavily in my chest.
Swallowing hard, I slowly slid out of the silky sheeted bed and made my way towards the polished wood door. My feet collected the coldness from the hardwood floor, making me shiver.
The door let out an awkward creek, signalling my movements. I bit my bottom lip and scowled at the door, as if it could be blamed.
Shuffling out of the door way, I felt like a stalker or serial killer. This wasn't my house and Jason was nowhere to be seen.
As I walked down dimly lit hallway, I smelt the smell of cooking eggs, bacon, and pancakes.
My eyes widened at the sound of my stomach. It was embarrassing at how loud it grumbled. Soon my head was snapping upward from my stomach to the opening, leading to what must be the kitchen. The sound of footsteps were heard.
I flailed my arms around for a minute, thinking about what to do.
I'll just go back to the room. I thought shuffling towards the way I came from. But what if he hears me!? Then he'll know I was up and he'll probably think I was watching him cook like some weirdo...
The footsteps became more clear, signalling he was closer...
Oh my god do something Elizabeth!
And closer...
Anything Elizabeth! Oh god. I thought, mentally screaming at myself as I skidded back and forth in this hallway.
Then as the footsteps came in to the hallway. My skidding halted in a painstakingly fall and as if in slow motion, my body fell back and my rump met the floor.
"Auuurrhhhh..." I groaned.
"Elizabeth are you okay?" Jason spoke quickly and rushed towards me.
I squeezed my eyes shut in hopes I was still in that bed, dreaming and hopefully I'd just encountered this embarrassing moment in that dream. But here stood Jason, hand on my back and another on my shoulder.
Speaking of those hands, the sensation I got from just the touch of them drove me wild. Knowing I couldn't sit like this forever with my eyes shut, no matter how treacherous this was, I nodded slowly.
"Yeah, I slipped in your hallway, as it would seem." I spoke quietly.
Shivers ran down my back as he let out a chuckle, his voice deep and gravely. "I guess your right, here." He said as he stood back up, extending a hand towards me.
My hand took a hold of it and felt the strong tug it gave, as he helped me up. When he let go I swore mentally in my mind and then scowled at myself for craving his touch.
"Are you okay? The look coming across your face is as if your having a mental war with yourself." He let out a small laugh.
you have no idea....
"What was that?" He asked.
My eyes widened when realized I'd said that aloud. "Nothing..." I spoke quickly.
Giving me a strange look, that screamed I probably did hit my head too hard, he asked. " Shall we eat some breakfast?"
My heart raced at the mention of food, and I nodded my head eagerly. He smiled a smile that was to die for and lead me out to the kitchen. As we made our way out of the darn hallway, we emerged into the kitchen. A small kitchen, not as big as the one in my house but it did the job of any kitchen would. My eyes observed the house, noticing it wasn't big but not small. But nice looking. Very plain looking though, no decorations, but a couple pictures.
The couple of pictures he did have made my heart race, at least two of them did. The two had pictured him and an admirably beautiful girl. Whose smile made my heart beat louder and louder, that smile she had. It screamed perfect, when she stood next to him and the same went with his own smile.
Jabob's own eyes found where mine had be set on and before he could open his mouth I turned to him and asked, "Is that a relative of yours?" Before jumping to conclusions I decided to be reasonable. But the look he gave me when I asked made my mind scream at me, screw reasonable, call him out now!
He rubbed the back of his neck and then spoke, his voice was filled with sorrow, "Uh, no actually. That was a picture of my ex fiancé. Hints the word ex." He gave out a chocked laugh.
Leaving me feeling like a bitch for even asking, and even more so for jumping to conclusions of calling him out.
My own voice was quiet, so quiet I didn't even know I was speaking. "Oh, Jason I'm sorry. I shouldn't of asked, I was being nosy."
His eyes shot up from the picture, and stared right into mine. "No, you had every right to ask. Don't feel bad, lets just, eat." He gestured towards the table, where the food laid.

Okay well....it tis I, Lyla rains and surprisingly I'm not dead. Even though I might as well of been, and yes I know I've been gone for some time. But now I'm back and ready to start writing. The reason why I was gone was because... well I have no good reason besides I was in a funk of not wanting to write or read for quite some time. Never mind that though, depending on how many votes and views I get will determined how fast I update.
Honestly the people who commented and voted was what brought me back. I thought nobody read my stuff and thought what was the point? Then I logged in one day and saw my notifications were on fire. So thank you to those that kept with my story! Much appreciated and your one of the reasons why I'm starting to write again!
