Fallen for you

An Introduction

Authors note:

This entire story is basically going to be me making bad leaf puns but with a romance involved story line. So yeah. Also I realize the start of Spring and Winter varies, I'm using March 20 as the start of Spring and December 22 as the start of Winter.

It all started at the beginning of Summer...

But I'm getting ahead of myself so let me catch you up.

*rewind to Spring*

The frost had finally gone and it was the start of a beautiful season.

Maple had just recently awoken from her winter nap and was overjoyed at the prospect of sun and life, she could not believe how gorgeous nature could look in it's prime. She yawned removing the sleep from her veins and slowly getting up, she was still resting in her cozy tree nook. She turned to gaze outside at the warm sun arching her stem and releafing the pressure off of her veins. She thought the view was unbeleafable. "This is going to be a great season, My season, I can feel it."

Maple went about her day unbeleafably happy that Spring was here and that the Earth was done being cold and dead.

Now to put things in perspective, here's Oaks take.

Oak awoke to the sun shining in his face, blinding him. He sat up annoyed that his Winter nap was over. He loves his sleep more than life itself, and definitely more than the crummy weather. He stretched out his long veins and wished it was cool and dark. He glanced out of his cramped tree nook, and started to count down the days until it was Winter again. *sigh* "only 277 more days to go" *angrily rubs face* "this is going to be a LONG year."

Oak continued about his day only focusing on the negative, in his defense, it was very bright outside.

This continued on with both Oak and Maple for the next couple of months; wake up, go outside, be negative and positive, respectably.

Little did they know things would be changing very soon. Too soon. (lol I kid, it will be right on time)

Next chapter will be set at the start of Summer (June 20) and will most likely be when they meet, hopefully. It will be up, uh whenever I have free time I guess? Also I realize this chapter was a disappointment when it comes to leaf puns but I don't want to overwhelm y'all.
