Okay, my bad. I'm not promising frequent updates. It's more or less when I log on. So you're gonna have to keep reminding me.
------------
"Get out,' one of the children whimpered in the corner, clinging desperately to her mothers skirt. She began crinkling the skinny fabric in her small hands.
Chloe snarled at the child causing her to yelp in fear, little drops of tears falling from her eyes as she silently pleaded with her mother to make the evil woman vanish.
Her mother -- Lucinda -- dropped to her knees and held the child in her hands as she continued to cry softly into her hair. Lucinda looked up at Blake and I, her eyes pleading.
Blake gave a curt nod while I also gave her a warm smile, in hopes of it somehow comforting her.
"Chloe. You're disrupting the serenity within the pack. You made one of the children cry. You should go. And don't come back," I snarled, my entire form reeking malice as I tried to make her feel the hatred I felt towards her.
"Since when do you tell me what to do?" she cackled. Her blonde hair falling behind her in waves as she flung her head back and roared with laughter. Two very large men stood behind her and smirked at us, their large figures taking up much space at the front hallway.
Soon enough she ended the horrible shrill laughter of hers as she waltzed into the living room. Her lean form plopping onto the couch as if this was her home.
A feral growl sounded from Blake's lips as he glowered at her. The twisted smile that soon fell upon her face made my stomach lurch.
This bitch was crazy
Artemi's laughter came from the far side of the room where he stood, assessing the situation.
"Heard that," Arti chuckled
The whole pack snickered and even Blake's tense form eased up a tad. I blushed furiously as I realized that everyone had just heard my last thought about Chloe. Whoops.
"I don't necessarily care as to what it is you were thinking about me. But watch it pup," Chloe growled at me, her claws just beginning to peak out from under her nails.
"Pup?" I smirked, "You're calling me a pup? Bitch you must have lost whatever was left of your brain if you think I'm the pup here. How's your mate? Oh wait, you don't have one! Aw dear, I feel for you. Wait, wait, I don't."
Chloe stood up rather quickly and her body emitted much of the rage I'm sure she felt.
"You will die by my hand!" she roard ferociously as she bared her teeth at me and took one step forward.
She must have forgotten my rather large and fit mate that was standing before me because with that one step her whole body went crashing into the other side of the room. Blake had shot forward so fast, I don't think anyone caught it.
I cautiously took one step towards Blake as he growled and snarled at Chloe who laid on the ground in a heap. She was desperately trying to get up but the impact of her body hitting the wall that hard made it nearly impossible. Her coughing and hacking sounded throughout the room, and before we knew it blood was coming out of her mouth as well; blending in with her saliva.
The crimson, shiny liquid coated the floor as it oozed out of her mouth. Suddenly she laughed and all you could see was her now red colored teeth, some even sticking onto the tips of her hair.
"Big mistake," she whispered and before I knew it I was in the arms of one of her men, a cool tip pointed towards my throat and nearly pierced my skin.
