While seeking revenge, dig two graves - one for yourself.

Chapter 1: A New Beginning

You know those times when you felt like there's no way out of it? There's this road and once you are in it you can't turn back, it's the end of all your moral values. Well I was certainly feeling like that. Standing in front of me with his broad figure was my boss-to-be. He was like an old photograph, withered away. But with his gun both in his hands and wrist suggested he was not a frail man. And I knew it from the first hand. He was the one who killed my parents. So why am I here? Standing in front of him and waiting his orders? Why am I accepting him as my boss? I guess, there's only one reasonable answer for it: Revenge.

He doesn't know that I'm their daughter, not yet at least. Since my parents died, I escaped to the farthest place, South Africa. And they just forgot about me. They thought a little girl can't mean any harm. Our name 'Fire' was eliminated from the world forever. Only it wasn't and they were so wrong. In Africa, I learnt how to shoot and how to kill a man. And you never forget your first kill, once your hands touch the trigger, you feel the urge to pull it. You can't think anything else and when you can, the damage is already done. No turning back. It was the milestone for me, I knew that I'd want retaliation. And then, I became the best assassin in the world. Criminals are fighting to have me on their side and I was choosing him Mr. Consenza , wanting for being a serial killer. Of course he was too old to be one, so he was collecting people. He had the largest contacts, from business to economy and politics. He even had few guys from law & government. I'm sure he'll be pleased to have me.

"It says you had your training in Africa. Is it true?" His husky voice grumbled. He was looking at my 'CV' as if it was a job interview.

"Yes, sir. I stayed there for 5 years." I answered, trying to be polite for now.

"Why Africa Miss Fire? I mean, there are lots of good places in America." He asked.

" I just wanted to be out of sight for few years " I said and It wasn't a lie, I was escaping from him.

He nodded. He continued shuffling the papers where all my 'achievements' was written. He looked impressed and I knew he wouldn't miss me.

"It's very impressing for a girl who is only 20." He said, evidently he didn't expect such thing from a girl.

"I'm amazed Ms. Fire. No need for further questions. I'd be honored to have you with me." He said and my eyes shone.

"I'll be very pleased to work with you Mr. Consenza." I said.

He poured some whiskey to his antique glass and poured one for me.

"To our new partnership" he toasted. "I'm guessing you're old enough to drink, right Ms. Fire?" He teased. Instead of answering, I drank it in one sip. He burrowed his eyebrows.

" So Mr. Consenza, when do we start?"

"As soon as possible. I'm so eager to have you met my men." He said, and the fish is hooked!

From now on, I knew that my life would be so different. At the end of this road, either death or a new life were waiting.This was a whole new beginning for me, Alexia Fire the daughter of rich businessman Eric Fire & Shirley Fire. I will avenge the death of them and my little brother Mike, I swear.
